Kate Middleton Perfect Christmas: Princess Charlotte Photoshopped Into Royal Family Holiday Photo?

Did Kate Middleton demand a perfect Christmas family portrait? Was Princess Charlotte photoshopped into the Royal Family holiday photo? Yes, this is a serious question that has taken over social media!

Did the Duchess of Cambridge want the family Christmas photo to be so perfect that Princess Charlotte, or at least her head, was photoshopped into the official portrait released by Kensington Palace? It all started when keen-eyed Royal watchers noticed that Princess Charlotte was wearing a “recycled” ensemble.

And then the tweets started! One Kensington Palace Twitter follower posted, “Ok beautiful but serious question did they photoshop Charlotte’s smiling face onto her body bc I’m thinking yes.” People then started “observing” that Princess Charlotte’s head was clearly defined in the picture, but the area around the newest Royal’s head was a bit fuzzy.

Next tweet? Elliot Wagland – Group Picture Editor for Huffington Post UK and AOL – weighed in on the photoshop debate. “Something is wrong with this (photoshopped) picture of the royal family via @davidmackau.”

That’s when Buzzfeed got involved in the debate. The Christmas photo was dissected, enlarged and analyzed. According to Buzzfeed, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said that the Royal Family has no comment on the photo. However, the spokesperson apparently laughed at the question.

Why in the world would Kate Middleton demand that the official Cambridge Christmas photo be changed? What reason in the world could there be for photoshopping Princess Charlotte into the portrait?

Kids don’t always cooperate when a photog is trying their best to get that absolutely perfect picture. Was Princess Charlotte a bit fussy that day? Was the eight-month-old princess tired of having a camera shoved in her face? Maybe Charlotte needed a nap or snack?

Even if Kate Middleton and Prince William did have the photog tweak the picture a bit, they wouldn’t be the first parents to do so. The technology of today allows even the most ordinary parents the option of having red-eyes removed, pimples airbrushed out, etc., from school photos and family portraits.
