Khloe Kardashian was busted on Instagram after posting a beautiful Thanksgiving spread and claiming she made the pies herself. Kardashian lashed out after the pie scandal but never confessed to purchasing the desserts rather than making them herself. It was pretty obvious that Koko isn’t a baker though after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a picture of her own creation, an ugly, cracked cheesecake not nearly as pretty as the previously purchased pies.
The pie scandal started when Khloe was showing off her Thanksgiving spread and claimed to have done all the cooking herself. In a photo of the food posted to Instagram, Koko wrote in the caption, “I am sooooo proud of myself lol can I say that??? I filmed on a tripod, in my kitchen a lot of me baking and prepping for today so I will have that up on my app soon!!! I love testing myself and seeing what I can accomplish and actually make successfully! Now let’s pray it tastes as great as they look! This monkey bread is going to be so f***ing bomb ????????”
All was well and everyone believed Khloe had really cooked and baked until three of the pies among a spread of desserts were recognized. It turns out that the delicious desserts were not a result of Khloe Kardashian’s hard work but were actually purchased from a Los Angeles bakery called Sweet Lady Jane. When the bakery owner Jane Lockhardt saw the familiar cherry, pecan, and pumpkin pies, she was obviously pretty upset that Khloe took credit for her work. She told the New York Daily News, “The nerve. When I saw the pies on her table I thought, ‘She has to be kidding me.’” It was later confirmed that Khloe purchased the pies from Lockhardt’s Encino location.
Khloe Kardashian was pretty upset when TMZ published the story about Khloe pretending to make someone else’s pies. The KUWTK star jumped on Twitter to give everyone a piece of her mind. Kardashian tweeted, “Petty mother*******!I have real s*** going on in my life. Try not to choke on my nuts. You’re sucking them pretty hard.” That’s certainly a classy response after getting busted taking credit for someone else’s hard work.
Just a few days after the pie bust, Kardashian decided to try again with a cheesecake that she actually made herself. Apparently, Koko should have faked making this dessert too because her cheesecake was pretty awful looking with a huge crack down the center. A clearly stressed out Khloe captioned this photo too.
Khloe Kardashian must have known the cheesecake was going to get laughed at after the fake pie scandal so Khloe wrote, “Just filmed a cooking with KoKo segment for my app. I’ll be showing you a step by step as to how to make this delicious cheesecake. Yummmm!!!! Excuse the missing pieces. Some little munchkins were trying to be sneaky this morning before I could get a picture. i’m not referring to the crack in the middle you ding dongs. That’s clear as day you birds! I’m referring to the rim of the cheesecake that those munchkins were nibbling on. Why waste your time being so negative?!?! It’s a f***ing cheesecake. Grow up.”
