It’s only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get a divorce, no matter how many selfies and Instagram pictures they upload. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have both worked hard to keep their marriage together for this long – actually, I take that back. Kim has worked hard to do everything that Kanye tells her to do, and in return, he hasn’t left her for another budding famewhore. However, it’s gotten to the point where Kim Kardashian is sick and tired of being Kanye’s slave girl, and she’s finally growing a backbone in regards to their relationship.
The shift started around the time of Kim’s Paper Magazine shoot, where she finally realized that even without Kanye, her brand is still big enough to land her sell-out features. Sure, a large part of the publicity surrounding the shoot had to do with her naked ass, but when has anything surrounding the Kardashians ever been legitimate? Either way, Kim managed that all on her own, without Kanye’s input and probably with his hindrance.
The success of that magazine cover – and the subsequent rise in her sex tape sales – allowed her to fight back against Kanye’s ridiculous behavior, and obviously Kanye hasn’t taken to that very well. Kim finally standing up for herself and demanding that Kanye spend some time home with his family [for once] has reportedly not gone well, and their fighting has descended into screaming matches. Kim has reportedly sought the counsel of a top-notch divorce lawyer in LA already, and if we’re going to guess, we’re assuming that a divorce announcement will come sometime in the new year.
Really though, who thought that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would ever last? It was a marriage doomed to fail, and the mere fact that they have lasted this long without divorce is a miracle.
