Kristen Stewart Dating Alicia Cargile: K-Stew Uses Bisexuality To Gain Hollywood Leverage?

Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile have now been dating for several weeks, but that doesn’t mean that Kristen gets a free pass when it comes to the media attention and media pressure. It might not be the same scrutiny that she faced while she was with Robert Pattinson, but it’s still definitely an intense level of attention. Sure, Kristen Stewart has moved on from Twilight and she’s laying low in her career and personal life, but that doesn’t mean the public won’t focus on her new-found [or at least, her newly public] bisexuality.

In fact, some reports are suggesting that Kristen’s team has been pressuring her to either stay completely quiet or go public with her new relationship. Going public would bring her a fresh wave of publicity, and it might even leverage her fame to land a new film role or film franchise. At this point, being gay – and especially being bisexual – is no longer the death knell it was in Hollywood a few decades [and heck, even a few years] ago.

In fact, if Kristen Stewart went public with her bisexual nature – and by public, I mean the whole shebang: magazine covers, interviews, etc. – then she could definitely, definitely leverage that to help her career. Despite decent buzz surrounding her performance in Still Alice, Kristen still hasn’t really recovered from the Rupert Sanders cheating scandal and the few years of hesitant employment that followed. I think people are still unwilling to take a risk on Kristen, because public sentiment about her has always been mixed, and Twi-hards are slowly losing interest – especially when it’s starting to look as though the chances of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson getting back together are next to nil.
