Michael Lohan and Kate Major Lose Custody of Kids After Raging Fight: Child Protective Services Step In

It was uncovered today that Michael Lohan and Kate Major are in the middle of a battle to get custody of their kids back. Lohan’s youngest two children were recently taken by the Florida Department of Children and Families last week after reports of an explosive fight between Michael and Kate in front of their young children.

According to a TMZ bombshell, 2-year old Landon and 10-month old Logan were living in foster care while DCF officials wait to place the babies with a “responsible family member.” Apparently Michael Lohan’s mom flew from Long Island to Florida to claim the kids.

Michael Lohan and Kate Major are reportedly able to visit with their children but only while grandma Lohan is supervising. They are currently waiting on a Tuesday court date to see what it will take to regain custody of the two little boys.

Apparently the explosive argument leading up to Kate calling police is all caught on video. When Lohan and Major sit down with DCF officials to talk about regaining custody, they are also expected to replay the video and discuss its contents.

In the meantime, Michael Lohan has been active on Twitter but never mentioned that he lost custody of his minor children. Instead, Lohan has been tweeting recommendations for addiction treatment. Lohan might have been alluding to his children with an October 29 tweet that said, “God wants full custody, not weekend visits.”

It seems that Michael Lohan has his hands full where his children are concerned. Lohan’s oldest son, Michael Jr., was arrested last week on grounds that he had forged a parking permit in New York City. The younger Michael was allegedly sporting a parking pass for state employees.

The pass would exempt Lohan for paying the exorbitant parking prices in downtown Manhattan. The problem is, Lohan couldn’t prove any employment with New York State and now he faces a second degree charge for criminal impersonation. Michael Lohan Jr. heads back to court on the fraudulent parking case on December 14.

The Lohans are notorious for having run ins with the law and the current legal battles for both Michael Sr. and Michael Jr. are really not surprising. The elder Lohan has been making headlines for years now as he battles with substance abuse issues.

Kate Major is also no saint and has had multiple arrests for domestic violence incidents as well as driving under the influence. The last time Kate Major and Michael Lohan got into a drunken fight, Kate ended up back in rehab.

It hasn’t been five months since Major attacked Lohan while he claims she was drunk, smoking marijuana and popping pills, prompting Lohan to call 9-1-1. When police arrived, Kate Major was visibly drunk and Michael Lohan was covered in scratches.

Major was arrested and taken to Palm Beach County Jail. She claimed that the scratches were in self defense and that Michael Lohan tried to chose his inebriated wife while he accused Kate Major of cheating.

It’s very likely that Florida DCF removed the children from Michael Lohan and Kate Major’s custody because of the June incident. Michael Lohan did claim to have recorded the violence during his 9-1-1 call and Lohan also made claims that Kate was coaching their son to tell police that Michael had hit her. Do you think Michael Lohan and Kate Major deserve to get their kids back or should they just stay with grandma?
