Tonight on VH1 their docu-soap series Mob Wives continues with an all new Wednesday January 21, season 5 episode 6 called “Philly vs. Philly,” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, Karen tries to fix things between her friends.

On tonight’s episode as per the VH1 synopsis, “Karen tries to mediate between Renee and Ang after their brawl at Drita’s party.”

Tonight’s episode of Mob Wives kicks off where we left off last week with a major brawl breaking out at the Lady Boss event. Security rushes to break up the Mob Wives fight with each other. Karen is trying to comfort Renee and drag her outside – meanwhile Ang is outside chainsmoking with Drea, she rants that Renee is “a f—king rat.” Renee rushes outside and Angela screams at her that she is “going to wreck her” as Drita shoves Angela in to the car. In the car Angela continues to rant about how Renee is such a rat. Meanwhile, Renee announces to Karen that her friendship with Angela is over and “there is no turning back.”
The next day in Philadelphia, Natalie and London are at work at the funeral parlor. They have a funeral in a couple hours, and London wants to take the lead on the entire thing. Natalie is keeping an eye on him to make sure that he does everything to “pure perfection.” The flowers arrive and London begins setting them up. London is the first outsider that Natalie’s family has ever hired, and Natalie doesn’t want to leave him to do everything himself because she is afraid he will mess it up.
In Staten Island, Karen shows up at Renee’s house the day after the brawl. Renee says that she is still “really pissed off.” She says that she was beside herself, and she doesn’t understand why Angela came at her and called her a rat. But, she isn’t the rat – it was her ex-husband’s testimony that put Angela’s cousin in jail, and she doesn’t think that she should be held accountable for it. Karen agrees that Angela was completely out of line. Renee chimes in that there is nothing Angela can do to make her forgive her – they are DONE.
Drita heads to Big Ang’s bar the next day to check in on her. Angela is still furious, and she still thinks that Renee is a rat. She apologizes to Drita for ruining her party, and then rants that she is done with Renee. Drita reassures her that she has her back, but she is going to have to meet with her to discuss what happened. Big Ang informs Drita that if she makes her meet with Renee she will break her jaw.
At home in Philly, Natalie is packing the apartment up to take stuff to New York. London shows up late and brings her coffee and apologizes for being late. Natalie fills London in on all of the Mob Wives drama and that some girl that Drita met at a photo shoot called her a “cop-calling rat.” Natalie is livid about the girl talking about her – and she plans to expose her.
Karen heads out for drinks with Natalie D., she fills Karen in on her drama with Natalie G. She stands y what she said and swears that Natalie’s reputation in Philly is that she is a fake fraud. Apparently “it is on,” because she knows Natalie G. has been calling her friends and family and talking crap about her. Natalie D. says that she will “choke the f—k out” of Nat G. and she would need a small army to save her.
Drita calls her husband Lee from work, she fills him in on Ang’s cousin and reveals that Renee’s ex Junior testified against him and he got 38 years in prison. Drita and her family hate rats, if it wasn’t for rats then Lee wouldn’t have had to go to prison for so many years and miss time away from their kids. Lee is fuming that Junior is about to be free and Ang’s cousin is spending the rest of his life in prison.
At her house Renee is spoiling her son AJ and making him a grilled cheese sandwhich because he is nursing a torn Achilles’ heel. Renee whines that when AJ was little he was so happy and now he doesn’t show her any affection.
In Brooklyn Drita and Big Ang head to the park to meet up with Karen. They head down to the water and sit down for a picnic and Karen fills them in on her meeting with Natalie D. She reveals that Natalie G. has been threatening her and calling her boyfriend now. The talk turns to Ang and Renee’s beef, and Karen and Drita try to convince her to meet with Renee. She finally agrees to have a sit down with Renee on a boat, but Ang warns them that it will be World War 3.
Drita heads to Ang’s house where she is remodeling her new mansion on top of the hill overlooking NYC. She shows Drita all of the stuff she got for the house and confesses that she has been dropping thousands of dollars. Her husband Neil is painting the molding and Ang screams at him that even painting “isn’t his forte,” because he is dripping black paint on the white wall.
Natalie and London decide to go out for drinks, because they haven’t been clubbing in a long time. Natalie begins pounding drinks, but she gets annoyed when London won’t get drunk and is being a “Debbie Downer.” Natalie doesn’t want to leave, but London drags her outside while she whines that he isn’t being fun. He explains that he has to go to work soon and he doesn’t want to party too hard.
It’s time for Renee and Angela’s sit down, she boards the boat with Karen. Drita and Big Ang show up next and take their seats on the boat. Karen is obviously Team Renee and Drita declares she is Team Ang. Luckily, Big Ang shows up with her hand in a sling and reveals that she just got 12 stitches, so there is a good chance she won’t be attacking Renee. They head out on the water and begin talking. Renee announces that what Ang did to her at Drita’s party was “unforgivable.” Karen tries to mediate and points out to Renee that she started it at Karen’s house when she exposed her for doing coke with Natalie.
Renee screams that she is tired of being the fall guy for what Junior has done to other people, but Renee finally caves and apologizes for what she said about Angela at Renee’s house. Once she takes it back, Angela takes back what she said. They both agree that they want to move on and move past their fight. Renee agrees that 25 years of a friendship should be given a second chance, and they both swear on the Bible that they are putting it behind them.
