Nathaniel Marston’s remains in critical condition after a tragic car accident. Nathaniel’s mother Elizabeth Jackson reports there is no improvement in his condition and there is little hope for the “OLTL” soap vet’s. Nathaniel’s mom fears that her son will be left a quadriplegic.
Elizabeth Jackson posted an update on Tuesday, November 10 stating there has been no change in Marston’s condition and there is still fluid on his brain despite surgery to relieve the fluid and pressure and avoid brain damage. Doctors are no longer optimistic that Nathaniel will regain use of the upper half of his body.
The update regarding Nathaniel Marston’s condition was posted by Elizabeth Jackson on Tuesday, November 10. Doctors and family had been hopeful that Marston would at least regain the use of the lower half of his body but sources information was premature when reported on November 4.
Marston’s heart stopped twice on the morning of November 5. Doctors needed to use a pacemaker to regulate the actor’s heartbeat. Nathaniel is also battling pneumonia, a heart infection and irregular pulse. Nathaniel Marston’s family remains by his side.
Elizabeth Jackson asked fans to pray for her son and updated them on his condition On November 8. Nathaniel was less responsive at the time and it was revealed Marston had sustained a shearing brain injury. Doctor’s drilled two holes in Marston’s head to drain fluid and reduce pressure on the brain to avoid brain damage.
The latest from Nathaniel’s mother is that Marston had a brain scan on Tuesday, November 10. There were no changes and it was a rough day for the family. If the fluid on Nathaniel’s brain has not dissipated the actor will undergo another surgery today, Wednesday, November 11. Elizabeth Jackson is doing her best to remain strong.
Nathaniel’s mother thanked friends, family and fans for their love, kindness, prayers and positive and generous support. “It really means so much to me…Sending all of you love, light and God’s blessings,” Elizabeth posted.
Nathaniel has had difficulty with anger management issues since being arrested on felony charges in 2007. At the time Marston was charged with felony assault, reckless endangerment, and felony possession of a weapon.
