Former The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev insists that she could care less about Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder’s wedding, or baby plans, or the fact that Nikki’s career is flourishing now that she is married to Somerhalder while Nina’s career is simultaneously sinking. But Dobrev’s actions say otherwise. Nina was photographed partying like a rockstar in St. Tropez on a pal’s yacht – something that she has been doing a whole lot of lately. Partying that is, not yachting.
No one can ignore the fact that Nikki Reed is basically excelling in every part of her life, and Nina Dobrev, well, isn’t. Nikki Reed recently landed a major role on “Sleepy Hollow” and she and her new husband Ian Somerhalder are reportedly making plans to start a family of their own and get pregnant with baby number one. Nina is adamant that she is happy for Ian and Nikki, but her lose friends say that is not the case at all – and the former TVD star is spiraling downward and partying non-stop. On top of the fact that Nikki got the engagement ring Nina thought she would be receiving, Nikki is also experiencing the career success that Nina had hoped for as well.
Nina Dobrev quit The Vampire Diaries and stated she was moving on to pursue a movie career, but she quickly learned that there are a lot more out of work actresses than there are movie parts and it would be much tougher than she had anticipated. To add insult to injury, Nikki Reed just landed a new gig on “Sleepy Hollow” and Ian is flourishing on The Vampire Diaries without Nina, and everyone has forgotten about her character Elena Gilbert since the spoiler video was released of Ian making out with Chris Wood.
According to inside sources, Nina has been sinking into a dangerous depression and trying to party away her woes. An insider dished, “Nina’s circle of friends are getting worried. She hasn’t even tried to look for work in weeks, she has really lost her drive. It seems like all she wants to do is party these days, it’s obvious that she is using it as a coping mechanism for something.” Could that something be the fact that her boyfriend married her former BFF, is planning on having a baby with her?
