Kim Kardashian had a tantrum throwing North West crying at Kanye West’s NYC fashion show and not everyone was impressed. Kim Kardashian brought North West to the front row of Kanye West’s Fall/Winter 2015 partnership with Adidas at New York Fashion Week on Thursday, February 12th, and that was apparently a bad idea. North West put up a huge fuss and started crying during the show, and since they were sitting in the front row, her wails could hardly be avoided or ignored.
Anna Wintour, who happened to be sitting near Kim and North, could hardly keep the disgust and disdain off her face, even though she refrained from saying anything. However, Elle Magazine editor Anne Slowey wasn’t as diplomatic, reportedly muttering, “Couldn’t they leave it backstage? Typical. Typical celebrity crap. Like I really even care.”
Meanwhile, Kris Jenner acted like it was oh-so-adorable that North West went into a temper tantrum right before such a big show, tweeting a picture of North crying and captioning, “Best pic, AHAHAHAH. North got a little fussy waiting for Daddy’s Show to start!!! We took her backstage for a snack right after this but just to share… love the patience of @Beyonce and #AnnaWintour @KimKardashian #NYFW #YeezySeason #mommymoment.”
Of course Kris Jenner turned this into a famewhoring and name-dropping opportunity, complete with hashtags and both Beyonce’s AND Anna Wintour’s names. What does she care that North West is crying and embarrassing them, since she gets to tweet about it?
To her credit, Kim reportedly did take North backstage after a few minutes of non-stop crying, and then returned to her seat alone when it became clear that North wasn’t calming down. But really, who takes a 1-year-old to a fashion show? Even if it happened to be Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas at New York Fashion Week?
