Nene Leakes is back on RHOA Season 8! Real Housewives of Atlanta fans were shocked earlier this year when Nene Leakes announced that she was quitting the Bravo show and wouldn’t be filming another season. Women have come and gone over the years – but Nene Leakes has been a permanent member of the RHOA cast basically since the show began.
It looks like Nene just couldn’t stay away from the drama though – according to a new report, Leakes is BACK, and is currently filming some scenes for Real Housewives.
The RHOA cast is currently filming Season 8 of the reality TV show, and are en route to a vacation in Jamaica, with camera crew in tow. According to a report from E! News, the Real Housewives have no idea that Nene Leakes will be crashing their Jamaican vacation and has been planning a “surprise attack” on the other women.
E! Online revealed, “RHOA is currently filming season eight’s trip to Jamaica, and NeNe will make an appearance—unannounced—much to the surprise of her unsuspecting co-stars, according to sources close to production. (That’s right: The ladies have no idea she’s coming. The drama!) NeNe will be making an undetermined number of appearances in the new season.”
Is anyone really surprised? Nene Leakes has been threatening to quit The Real Housewives franchise for years – we all probably should have known that this was just another hoax, and Nene wasn’t going to be able to stay out of the limelight.
The Season 8 cast of RHOA is looking pretty full, and judging from the women that are filming – there will be no shortage of drama. Real Housewives spoilers tease that the following women are filming Season 8 of RHOA: Nene Leakes, Sheree Whitfield, Shamea Morton, Kim Fields, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, and Porsha Williams.
