Abe comes to the bar and confronts Jeremiah about his double life. Jeremiah says he’s working to support his kids and he’s sorry for lying to him. He says he lied because he can’t screw things up with Abe’s mom after all she’s done for him. He says he went Amish because he thought it was the best thing to do, and it helped him get his life in order. But he says that now, his kids need him as much as Abe’s mother does, if not more. Abe tells Jeremiah that he’s going to be the one to tell his mom about it. He says he has two days before he tells her himself. “Two days and you’re out of that house,” he says.

Mary says the bed and breakfast is a big hit, and the guests are enjoying the Amish experience. She says the B&B is important to her because it allows her to spend time with her English friends while remaining Amish. She also says that it would be better if Chester were there, but he doesn’t think the church will take her back as long as she is running the B&B. She says she thinks that if the church knows her bed and breakfast was Amish, they would take her back. She goes to talk to Chester, who says he isn’t interested in going to the bed and breakfast and absolutely refuses to go.

Kate leaves the B&B and goes back to New York City to pursue her dreams in modeling and fashion design.

Jeremiah meets with Mary to tell her that he is leaving. He asks her what she would say if he decided not to be Amish. He says he has his kids in Ohio to take care of. She says if his kids like him, they’ll like him either way. She says they aren’t normal Amish, and that he can stay Amish and remain who he is.

Jeremiah says in confessional he won’t make enough money working for her to support his kids.

Mary tells him that if he really wants to go English, she still supports him, but he wouldn’t show his tattoos or wear his “ear gadgets.” “Women wear earrings, men wear gadgets,” she says. She tells him to do whatever it takes for him to be happy.
Jeremiah says in confessional that he’s happy that Mary accepts his decision, but he still has to make up with Abe.

Kate shows her friend Gina the pieces she is going to send down the runway for fashion week. Kate realizes that she still has a lot of work to do on her collection.

Jeremiah meets with Abe to tell him what Mary said and to make up with him. He says there’s nothing wrong with being Amish, but it wasn’t necessarily for him and didn’t make him happy. He says he tried to live the Amish life because he thought it was the best thing he could do at that point. Abe says that what he does reflects on Mary because she is taking him in. He says this isn’t going to go over well with the bishop in the church. Jeremiah says he needs to make money to get to Ohio and see his kids, which he can’t make working at the B&B. Abe says that if he had said something, they could have been there to help him. He says he has some business he has to take care of in Ohio anyway, and he is going on the weekend, so he can take Jeremiah with him.

Mary gets a visitor at the B&B who says she will not be welcome back at the church unless she shuts down the business, and her husband will be shunned as well. Mary tells him that it’s none of his business.

Abe drives Jeremiah to Ohio to see his children.

Chapel meets up with Mary for her opinion on her moving to the country. She says everyone wants to talk to her about what’s going on with Andrew, and she doesn’t want to talk about it. She says she wants to get a divorce. Mary gives Chapel advice, telling her to go and talk to him. Chapel agrees, saying she’s going to go see him.

Abe is touched and mindblown by how fatherly Jeremiah is when around his kids. He tells him that it’s nice to see the family side of him. Jeremiah says people may not see it, but his family is the most important thing to him.

Katie-Ann leaves for Iowa.

Kate’s fashion show is tonight. This is the first runway she’s ever done as a designer rather than a model. She says she can’t afford for this night to go badly, because if she wants to continue designing, she needs to make money. Seeing her own work strengthens her confidence in the fact that she wants to be a fashion designer, she says in confessional. She also says that she never imagined she could accomplish something like this when she was Amish.

The show is a success, and people congratulate her, some wanting to buy her clothes.

THE END!
