Gomez posted her social media crush just a week after Bieber sent fans after the identity of a beautiful girl he found on Instagram as well. Some think Selena’s recent captionless man post was a jab at Bieber in an attempt to make him jealous but the “Same Old Love” singer claims the Wilhelmina model is just the star of one of her music videos.
Christopher Mason is the man behind the soda swigging Instagram photo posted by Selena on Thursday, December 17. A TMZ report claims that Mason isn’t Gomez’s new crush. Instead, they say the Bieber look alike is Selena’s new love interest in the music video for “Hands To Myself.”
Mason was hand-picked by Selena Gomez to play her love interest in the music video, which is very interesting. That’s because Christopher Mason looks a whole lot like Selena’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. Mason has long-ish blonde hair and several tattoos just like Selena’s “Baby” singing ex. The model turned music video star also sports some chiseled abs that would make any girl melt.
Apparently, Gomez isn’t looking to make a love match with the handsome model. Mason is reportedly in a relationship and even has a daughter. That doesn’t mean Selena can’t enjoy the company of her new music video love interest.
If Selena can’t have Justin Bieber all to herself, at least she can cast his look alike in her video, which is due out next week. Selena cast her love interest personally, which makes us wonder if her choice was a subtle message to Bieber. Is Selena Gomez trying to make Bieber jealous by making out with his look alike? Or is Gomez trying to send a message to her Sorry singing ex-boyfriend and let him know what it could look like if they got back together?
After Justin’s recent antics with the London hotel parties and stories that he’s sleeping with Kourtney Kardashian, we’re betting Selena is just trying to make her old boyfriend a little jealous. Gomez knows that Justin Bieber is bad news and it’s time for the “Same Old Love” singer to move on.
