Kirsten comes home and finds Camille has decided not to kick her out. She says she was just mad and put all her stuff back into her room. She asks if they caught the bomber. Kirsten says the library would have been a crater. She asks when she does it again and Kirsten says tomorrow. Camille made her dinner as a let’s be friend apology for accusing her of messing with her work. Kirsten stares and Camille says sorry. Kirsten is offput and just walks off. Camille is stunned by the reaction.

She sits down to drink both glasses of wine and says she’s pissed off. Cameron says he’s stitching Kirsten under protest. Linus hands them comms. Cameron says she shouldn’t have been able to touch anything in the memory and Linus says the equipment all went crazy. Cameron says she should not have been able to touch an intangible from a memory and they need to figure it out. Linus says the sample will degrade in 48 hours and she says the sample’s name is Ed Clark.

Kirsten asks Cameron if he thinks what happened to Marta will happen to her but she says she’s willing to do it. She says she didn’t connect with Ed but needs to know why and how he died. She gets into the tank and they set the clock for five minutes. They get ready to stitch her but then Maggie comes in and says Ed has to wait, something has come up. Maggie says Lisa Keller died at a rave last night from a drug called devil’s breath.

Linus says at low doses it’s a disinhibitor but at high doses is deadly. Kirsten wants to work on Ed’s case and says Lisa’s brain has longer. Maggie says dozens more kids will die if they wait. Kirsten says Maggie promised her a crack at Ed but Maggie says first they have to find out where Lisa got the drug. Kirsten agrees and says to do it. Detective Fisher looks up Kirsten and talks to his boss about her and says there’s something not right about her.

He asks why a branch of the NSA is protecting her. His captain says to work on the Lisa Keller case now because her mother is a judge and let the Kirsten Keller thing go. Fisher makes a call about getting Lisa’s tox report and is told they can’t find her body. He goes to the morgue and the ME says they get lots of bodies and some get lost. She shows him a body that’s not Lisa Keller that was in her slot. He asked if she filed a report and the ME says to give her a day or so to find her.

He says he’ll be back in a few hours and says to find her body. He leaves and the ME makes a call and says – we may have a problem. They have Lisa’s body at the stitcher lab and Linus loads her up and says the sample is online. Kirsten says to do this soon so she can move on to Ed. She hops into the tank and they drop the lights. Cameron calls for neurosync and they are a go. Medical gives a thumbs up and they do a comms check. Cameron says he mapped her memories as best he can.

They put her into the stitch and Kirsten is at the rave. He asks what she sees and Kirsten says there are a lot of people. She shouts and it kills Linus and Cameron’s ears. They tell her inside voice then to look around. She says she can’t focus her eyes and says she feels odd. They think the drug memories are kicking in. Kirsten wants them to put her back further but they can’t. Cameron asks if she want to bounce but Kirsten says just to let her do this.

She says she sees a guy who looks like he’s in charge and a girl Denise that Lisa knows. She’s trying to get Denise to leave with her. Kirsten is hallucinating and Ayo wants to pull her. Cameron asks her to calm down and Kirsten tries. She sees a guy give Lisa the drug. Kirsten says she’s bouncing. She comes out and sits up gasping. She says Lisa didn’t OD but was murdered. Some guy forced the drugs on her. Maggie says she checked the records and they didn’t find a Denise.

Kirsten says she felt protection and says Lisa was trying to save Denise. Linus says after Lisa was forced to take the drugs, her vitals when crazy. Kirsten says the drugs turned everyone into monsters. She says to let her stitch into Ed but Maggie says she needs to finish this investigation. Kirsten says to stitch her back into Lisa and Cameron says she has to wait out the refractory period – it basically means the sample’s cells need to rest. Cameron says it’s five to 12 hours.

She says to stitch her into Ed while they wait. Maggie says she can stitch Lisa again after the wait then they’ll talk about Ed. Kirsten asks to go home and rest and Cameron offers her a ride. She says that’s nice and agrees. Cameron tells Linus to try and figure a way to counteract the drugs impact on the memory. Kirsten asks Cameron if they can make a stop on the way. They go to a warehouse and he asks where they are. She says it’s the rave location.

Cameron tells her to stop. He chases after her and says she lied to him. He says they need trust to work together. She says they are not coworkers or teammates and she’s doing this to get to find out what happened to Ed then she’s done with him, Maggie and the freak show. She says being in the place where she died might help her parse the memories she show. He says “by Grapthar’s Hammer” – a Galaxy Quest reference and follows her.

She spots the jerk from the memory and asks him who gave Lisa the drugs. He says he doesn’t know and says he’s running a business. She asks about the guy taking pictures. He says it’s Raff but he isn’t nice like Cleaver. There’s a giant growly guy there, Cleaver, and Kirsten tells him they’re not afraid of him. Back outside, Kirsten tells Cameron they know more now and he says he knows now he leaks urine when confronted with guys named Cleaver.

He says Maggie will kill them and she says to man up and Maggie needs them more. Then Fisher pulls up and greets her then calls Cameron nerdy guy. He asks why they’re there and she says it’s above his pay grade. He asks about Lisa Keller and Kirsten asks if he plays chess. He says no and she says she does then says queen takes night. Cameron says he’s a Settlers of Catan man himself. (OMG – great game!). Cameron says Raff isn’t even a real name.

She tells him they know where Raff will be then tells him to take her home. She says they’re going to a rave and Camille wants to come along. He says it’s a mission and she says the agency can’t control the LA dance scene. She says she can translate from rave to nube for them and Kirsten says it makes sense. Cameron says he needs a wing man and Camille says to find her someone exotic. Cameron goes back to the lab and tells Linus they’re going to a rave and says he has to go too.

Linus says it’s awesome and says he hasn’t been dancing in a long time. Maggie comes over and asks why they’re whispering. Linus says they can stitch again in five hours and the guys duck out to go dance. They fist bump in the elevator. Camille gets dressed then looks at Kirsten’s outfit and says she’s clueless and looks like a real estate agent. She takes her to rehab her look. Linus gets glow necklaces and bracelets then they spot the girls. Linus says woof. Cameron tells him never to say that again.

Cameron says Kirsten cleans up good. Camille calls Cameron lab rat and tells him to back down. Linus asks Camille to dance and she says to lead on. They head inside. Inside, Camille says they need to split up in pairs then takes Linus and walks off. Kirsten says she’ll look for Raff. Cameron bounces around half dancing and he asks if she’s been to a rave before. She says no but she feels like she has. Linus and Camille are really digging it and having fun together.

Camille says he dances nice and he says he takes Zumba. She says she has no clue who they’re looking for. Cameron tells Kirsten she looks like a cop and needs to dance to blend in. He dances around and grabs her hands. He says he’s helping a sister out. She tries to participate then looks around at how others are moving and tries it for herself. Cameron laughs and says she’s a fast learner. She spots Denise and moves over to her.

Kirsten approaches Denise and says they’re friends of Lisa’s. Denise says she watched Lisa die. Raff is there and asks why they’re talking to his girl. He pulls a knife and Kirsten has a memory flash and says she’s taking Denise out of there. Cameron asks if Raff likes Settlers of Catan. He waves the knife and Cameron says looks like more of a Risk man. Raff yanks Denise along behind him and through a door then Cleaver blocks them from following. Camille tases him in the throat and he goes down.

Linus loves it. They head outside and don’t see her. Fisher is there and she says she has to save her. Fisher threatens to tase her and Fisher says for them all to get on the ground. They all drop down and then Fisher kneels and asks if Kirsten plays football. He says he does then says touchdown. She says Lisa Keller was murdered and he asks how they know. She says they hacked into her brain after she died and looked at her memories. She tells Fisher she can prove it. They take him and Camille to the lab.

Fisher says they’ve got to be kidding. Maggie blows up and Cameron asks if she remembers the detective. Fisher says he was going to arrest them until Kirsten offered to bring him there. Kirsten says if they’re going to do field work, it helps to have someone on the LAPD. Then Maggie reveals that Camille is part of the program and Camille says she didn’t tell them yet. Kirsten is angry and storms off. Camille follows and Kirsten asks how long she’s been spying on her.

Camille says about a year. She says after they moved in together, Maggie brought her in and paid all her school and living costs to spy on her. She says she had to report back if she did anything strange. Camille says they put her up to rigging her academic suspension and needed to incentivize her to join the program. Kirsten says it’s no wonder she has such a hard time making friends. Maggie says Kirsten played both of them on this one.

Fisher says she’s different and Maggie says he has no idea. He asks if this program really works and Maggie says it does. She asks what he’ll do now that he knows about the program. Maggie says she researched him and found out he’s like a pitbull on cases. She says he’s already lost a marriage and will likely be transferred again at work. She says she knows he was poking around the ME’s office too. He asks who they are and Maggie says a federal agency with a wide jurisdiction including the LAPD.

She says she can make him the most successful but still least popular detective if he joins the program. She says Kirsten sees things that only she can follow up in the field. She says he’ll stay LAPD but work deep cover for them and will get the collars. Linus says they’re ready to stitch again and Maggie asks if he’d like to see it work. Fisher says she’s the devil. Maggie says she’s not but admires his closing rate. They go downstairs to watch the stitch.

Kirsten says she’s still seeing monsters then Linus runs a filter and the effects calm down for her. Ayo says the vitals are stabilizing. Kirsten asks Cameron to cut out the music and she hears Lisa telling Denise she’ll get her back to the shelter then back home. Denise says Raff will take care of her and told her he had a big score coming. Lisa confronts Raff and says to keep Denise out of his big store. Xleaver grabs her and holds her then Raff asks if she’s special trying to save runaways.

He says to save herself then shoves a big dose of the drugs into her mouth and says – sweet dreams. Kirsten sees Lisa stagger out into the crowd then to Denise. Kirsten sees Raff telling Denise to get back in with him and then Kirsten sees the address of an auto repair shop. She sees Lisa dying and says she’s bouncing. She comes out and Kirsten gives them the address and says the drugs are in Raff’s camera case. Maggie says they need a warrant and tells Fisher to figure something out.

Kirsten tells him welcome to the stichers program. Raff talks to a guy on the phone about the new drug. He closes the deal then ends the call. Denise is sitting on the couch crying. Raff asks what she’s on about and she says she doesn’t want anything to do with this and says when they met he never told her he dealt drugs. Raff says he gets it and asks if she wants to be back on the streets. He says he’ll dump her back where he found her. She says she wants to go home and he says she is home.

Fisher comes in and arrests Raff for Lisa’s murder. Kirsten is there and takes Denise out. She asks how she knew where she was and Kirsten says Lisa told her. They demand the password to his computer and he says screw you. Camille has her taser out. He says it’s police brutality. Camille says they’re not cops. Kirsten and the others head back to the stitch lab and Linus says it’s too late. He shows them the sample and Cameron says that can’t be right.

He pulls up some data and he says Ed can’t be stitched. Kirsten says it’s bull. Linus says there’s nothing to stitch. Camille tells her she’s so sorry. Kirsten turns and walks off. She goes up and tells Maggie she deliberately brought the Keller case to run out the time for Ed’s stitch. Maggie says it just happens some time. Kirsten says she promised her. Maggie says she didn’t solve the case fast enough. Kirsten asks what Maggie doesn’t want her to know.
[2015-06-10, 12:22:28 AM] Rachel Rowan: She says is it who her parents are? Who killed Ed? How this relates to her? Maggie says Ed’s stuff is being boxed up and will all be shipped to the house he left her. She says maybe the answer will be in those boxes. She puts Lisa’s face on the monitor and tells them all that Denise wouldn’t be anywhere without the stitchers program and says Kirsten gave Lisa back her voice. Maggie says there are monsters everywhere and they can use this tech to stop them.

We see a young Kirsten scared of monsters under her bed. Ed checks and says there are no such things as monsters. She asks him to look again. Now, Kirsten says she never did like monsters and says – let’s go get them. Cameron goes to the hospital with flowers for Marta Rodriguez. He looks at her and thinks about her seizure during a stitch. Looks like she’s in a coma.

THE END!
