Lately Harvey hasn’t been doing so well. Like yeah he’s gotten better and have had fewer panic attacks since therapy but all the same he’s kind of been a hot mess without Donna. And that was the one thing his enemies all eventually saw for themselves.

Hence these last few episodes have been a bit of an open season on Harvey and Mike for one has grown considerably worried about how his friend is handling all of it.

Yet on tonight’s all new episode of “Suits” Mike was convinced into overlooking his friend’s sorry mental state in order to go in with him on a new and most likely trying case. For if there was one person they both wanted to put the screws in more than anything then it would be Travis Tanner. Travis is an even shadier lawyer than they could ever be.

Plus finally sticking to it to Travis was personal for Harvey. The last time Harvey had to face off with him, the other man threw his mother’s infidelity back into his face just to provoke him. So this time around Harvey just wants the win.

He wants to know he had the last word and he wants to rub what he feels is an assured victory in Travis’s face. However his therapist, once she found out what he was doing, didn’t believe he should pursue this case. In fact she though it was unhealthy of him.

Harvey’s client was being sued for sexual harassment and the guys felt like Travis had put his client up to it. See, this woman was going to drag a married man through the mud just to get some cash out of it. And Harvey ended up feeling so strongly about this case because he didn’t want Travis to break up a man’s family.

So that in addition to what the therapist had heard earlier, as in that dream of Harvey’s where he finds Travis in bed with a woman and though Harvey denies it was Donna – she knows it was Dona, made the doctor question Harvey’s involvement in this case.

Dr. Agrard felt like this case had become too personal for Harvey and she was trying to get him see that for himself when Mike turned out to be the one to disillusion his friend. As with any other case, it was up to Mike to do the grunt work and throughout his investigation he found something. He found out that Tanner wasn’t the one that was pushing his client to make things ugly. It was actually the client that was acting very underhanded.

Meaning Tanner wasn’t the enemy this time and Harvey had to take off his blinders. But that’s the thing. Harvey wasn’t ready to see the truth. He wanted Tanner to be the bad guy and then he wanted to destroy Tanner.

And because he was so fixated on this, he went ahead with demolishing Tanner’s client when Mike found out she had a good cause to pursue a case.

The young woman in question had wanted to leave her job and start her own company but when her boss found out he then made it his mission to destroy her dream. And keep her from setting up shop. So although what she didn’t wasn’t right, any sane person could see that she now had nothing to lose.

But, again with the fixation, Harvey was out of line.

He attacked Tanner when the other man once again started to make jabs about his life. And he was then forced by Mike to walk away before things escalated. So, with him out of commission, Mike had to step up.

He met with Tanner and he asked him to prove he’s changed. And then, and only then, will Harvey possibly consider taking the deal.

And like Tanner, it was time for Louis to be a man about it as well. Louis had tried to fix his earlier mistake of cutting Harvey’s commission by performing another shady trick. Only this time it did not work in his favor and truthfully it ended up backfiring on him because he was stupid enough to team up with Jack again.

So Louis did what he should have and he told Jessica it was him that released Harvey’s paycheck to the commission committee. And she then used that information into forcing Jack to back down else both he and Louis were going to be fired.

No surprise, Jack chose to keep his job even if it meant Jessica now owned him.

But the deal Mike made was for Tanner to remove himself from the case. Thereby forcing Harvey to see what was happening for what it really was instead of creating a vendetta against Tanner. And once Harvey saw how far Mike was willing to go for him, he advised Mike to settle.

It seems that some of what his doctor has been telling him has finally sunk in.

THE END!
