Tamra Barney’s daughter Sidney can’t stand her mother and begged a judge not to force her to spend any time with her mother. Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney can’t seem to get along with anyone on the Bravo reality TV show. It turns out her costars aren’t the only ones that hate her – apparently Tamra’s own 16 year old daughter Sidney doesn’t want anything to do with her either! Tamra Judge (as she prefers to be known these days) has been in a lengthy custody battle with her ex-husband Simon Barney for years – and he accused her of both neglect and abuse.
Simon has been battling for full custody of Sidney Barney, and her siblings – recently a California family court judge ordered Tamra and 16 year old Sidney to attend therapy sessions together. According to a report from Radar Online, Sidney went to court on August 24 and asked to speak to the judge herself. Apparently, Sidney explained that she had no interest in going to the court-ordered therapy with Tamra, and she didn’t want any type of relationship with her mother.
The official court documents obtained by Radar Online read that Sidney is, “extraordinarily reluctant to see and have a relationship with her mother.” The judge went on to say that Sidney didn’t have to attend therapy – and even added that it was clear these were Sidney’s wishes, and not ideas that Simon had put in her head.
In the past, Tamra Barney had argued that Simon was turning her kids against her – but it seems pretty obvious that Sidney doesn’t want anything to do with Tamra, regardless of what her dad says or thinks. And, we can’t say that we blame her. If Tamra bullied and picked on her kids anything like she did her “friends” on Real Housewives Of Orange County – then it is no wonder Sidney doesn’t want to be around her.
