Taylor Swift is headed to court! The pop star has filed a countersuit against her alleged groper, David Mueller, the radio host that just filed a lawsuit against her – T-Swift is alleging that Mueller lifted up her skirt and groped her while they were posing for photos backstage at an event.
It all started back in 2013 – Mueller was backstage at a meet and greet when Taylor accused him of groping her, he was dragged out by her security team. And, then two days later Mueller was fired by the radio station where he worked because of the incident.
David Mueller filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift claiming that she “took away his livelihood,” and made it impossible for him to find work. According to the lawsuit, Mueller was making approximately $120,000 a year before Taylor came along and accused him of groping her.
Mueller even claims in his legal papers that he is being wrongfully blamed for the incident – and it was actually someone else who lifted up Taylor’s skirt and “touched her inappropriately.” Taylor isn’t taking Mueller’s lawsuit lying down though – the popstar has filed a countersuit and wants him to be held accountable for his actions.
According to a report from People Magazine, Taylor isn’t doing it for the money. (Obviously, the girl is making over a hundred million dollars this year.) Instead, Taylor is doing it to set an example and make it clear that it is not okay for men to reach up underneath girls’ skirts.
In case you guys weren’t aware, trying to get to second base with someone while they are posing for a picture with you isn’t cool! People’s report goes on to say that if Taylor wins the lawsuit she plans to donate the funds to a charity.
