Seeing as how spoiler king Reality Steve leaked the name of Chris Soules’ winner and fiancée months ago – the buzz of the engagement has already worn off. But, Bachelor fans are buzzing about something else, who is the 2015 Bachelorette?
A tried and true tradition on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette is that after every season, one of The Bachelor’s castaways becomes the next Bachelorette and gets another shot at finding love. On Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor, it was clear that Andi Dorfman was being primed to be the next Bachelorette. But, in Season 19 there are no obvious front-runners for the coveted position.
A popular theory on the internet is that contestant Britt Nilson will be the 2015 Bachelorette, and that theory is mostly based on the process of elimination. Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley are in the final two – which takes them off the table. Jade Roper has nude pictures and videos all over the internet, ABC won’t risk the controversy. And, Kaitlyn Bristowe had been living in everyone on the show’s shadow for weeks, if Chris Harrison were to announce tomorrow that Kaitlyn is the next Bachelorette, the majority of fans would say “Kaitlyn Who?” So, the most logical choice for 2015 Bachelorette is Britt Nilson.
In a recent interview with TV Guide Magazine, Chris Harrison dished on the next Bachelorette, and whether or not it will be Chris Soules’s ex Britt Nilson. When questioned about it Chris replied, “We definitely want to wait until “Women Tell All” and the finale to make a decision, but Britt would give us a good Bachelorette. She’s beautiful, she’s articulate, it would be very emotional and the guys would be very happy. She’s definitely a candidate for sure.”
Considering the fact that all of the other women on The Bachelor slammed Britt Nilson for always having to be the center of attention, and even accused her of “thinking this was The Bachelorette,” she seems to meet the criteria.
