“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Wednesday, May 27, reveal that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will give Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) updates on his game plan. Now that Eric (John McCook) has decided to side with Rick (Jacob Young), Ridge will have to use an alternative method to take over Forrester Creations. Ridge is convinced that he can bring Rick down, but he’ll need the Spencers’ shares to stage this hostile takeover. Fortunately, Liam (Scott Clifton) wants to get rid of Rick as much as Ridge does and he’ll likely be willing to help out.
Ridge will present Liam with an opportunity that could be beneficial for the alliance. However, Liam will have to work with Steffy if this scheme is going to work. Liam won’t be sure that’s a good idea and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will definitely be against their new working arrangement. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers tease that Ivy will say she feels secure in her relationship with Liam, but she won’t stand for Steffy making moves on him. In fact, down-the-road spoilers indicate that Ivy will urge Wyatt (Darin Brooks) to provide a distraction by asking Steffy out on a date.
B&B rumors have been hinting that Steffy might hook up with someone who’s caused a lot of trouble lately. Wyatt certainly created a mess by sharing the news about Maya (Karla Mosley). Maybe Wyatt could be the one Steffy gets involved with. On the other hand, Bill’s (Don Diamont) decision to run the story infuriated Katie (Heather Tom). If they continue to face strife in their marriage, perhaps Steffy could end up with Bill. After all, Steffy fell for Bill once and she could fall again.
Some earlier rumors suggested that Steffy and Rick could become an item, but it’s starting to look like Rick may soon work things out with Maya. In the meantime, Rick will be busy blaming Ridge for all his problems. Rick is beginning to sound like a broken record. Ridge may be gunning for the CEO position, but Rick has still acted outrageously over the last few months. Eric decided not to invoke the morality clause, but he could’ve easily forced Rick to step down if he’d wanted to. Rick is in the situation he’s in because of his constant outbursts as well as his relationship with Maya. It’s probably time for Rick to stop pointing the finger at Ridge and start taking responsibility for his own actions. Of course, we all know that won’t happen.
