Carson asks Amy about life on Team Adam. She says they have a lot of fun and a lot of love for each other. She says they are thankful to be there. Then he asks Zach a question and he says there’s more to him than just shaking his hips.

The first save is from Team Blake and it’s Emily Ann Roberts. She is the first into the semi-finals. Also safe from Team Adam is Jordan Smith. Both Blake and Adam have representatives in the top nine and will be part of the semi-finals.

Blake announces that Dolly Parton is coming in next week to mentor the nine semi-finalists and will perform on the show. Pharrell says he has confidence in his last artist Madi Davis. Gwen says she wants her artists to really share their stories.

Adam says you have to keep it fresh and keep your team inspired and fight off their nerves. The eight remaining come out for the next results. Madi talks about what the experience means to her and Barrett says it’s okay to run into the unknown.

The next save is from Team Gwen and it’s Jeffery Austin. Also safe is Team Blake’s Barrett Baber. After the break, the remaining six again take the stage and Carson asks Braiden what he has to say to his fans. Braiden thanks them for all the support.

Shelby talks about last night and says she wanted to make it an emotional performance about the lyrics. Carson announces the next save is from Team Pharrell’s Madi Davis. Also safe is Team Adam’s Amy Vachal.

Carson asks Korin about the grueling Instant Save process. She says she’s learned a lot during the competition and says she’s more fearless than she thought. The next save is Team Blake’s Zach Seabaugh. Team Adam’s Shelby Brown is also safe.

This means that Korin Bukowski is also up for an Instant Save again along with Braiden Sunshine. Korin is first and does Colbie Caillat’s Try. She really screws it up. She forgets lyrics and stumbles over herself.

Blake tells her when she’s done that all of them have done that while performing. He says she deserves to be there and says it happens. He says he wouldn’t be surprised to see her saved again tonight.

Pharrell says it has happened to all of them. He says it let America see who she is – someone who got knocked down and got back up. He tells her to hold her head high and says she got knocked down twice, sang and got back in the ring to fight.

Gwen says Korin is deep and had that moment is because Korin is a deep human and has come out of her shell and deserves to be there. Also up for Instant Save is Braiden Sunshine also from Team Gwen.

He does Harder to Breathe by Maroon 5. Adam says it was fantastic and he has good taste in songs. He says it’s a back against the wall song and was great for this moment. He says awesome job.

Gwen says Braiden’s confidence and openness amazes her and she thinks he’s grown so much and has been honored to know him. Korin comes back out and it’s time for the moment of truth. Instant Save voting starts.

Both Korin and Braiden thank Gwen for coaching them. Gwen says this is intense having two of her babies against each other. She tells Korin that knowing her has been inspiring and says they are very similar and she connects with her so much.

Gwen says this doesn’t matter and says it’s just a show. Then Gwen tells Braiden he’s 15, he’s got his whole life ahead of him and will keep growing because he’s so special. Now voting has closed and we find out who is in the semi-finals and who goes home.

America instantly saved Braiden Sunshine. Korin Bukowski is going home!
