During last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, the now UN-SAFE Safe Zone of Alexandria continues to deal with the aftermath of the Wolves attack. Deanna seems lost at the beginning of the episode, but manages to get renew her faith, despite her son laying the blame on her shoulders. As Deanna’s son, Spencer, swaps guard duty with Carol and relieves Rosita from her post. Swarms of walkers are banging on the walls of Alexandria, and Deanna slams her hands against the fences in her rage. After the moment, she walks by the barricades and fails to notice fresh blood appearing on wall. Eagle-eyed fans are left wondering where the blood is coming from.
Is it dripping from above? Is it pushing through as the ravenous zombies clamor to get inside and feast on the town?
The theories coming from that scene are growing. Spencer was last seen on top of the wall, guarding the tiny town. Was he killed by one of the Wolves who returned to pillage Alexandria again? Did he enjoy his crackers and then end it all, slitting his wrists? Was it another Alexandrian who we didn’t see? Or is simply walker blood oozing through the walls? Whatever it was, it will undoubtedly lead to another plot twist.
As for the repeated demand to know Glenn’s fate…
You will have to wait until November 22 to get the official reveal. Next week’s episode entitled ‘Always Accountable’ will detail Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha’s fate. Fans are going to love the Daryl-heavy episode that reveals yet another threat to Rick and the group. Finally, during season 6, episode 7, fans will get an answer to the question of Glenn’s escape in ‘Heads Up.’ Now that we know Maggie is indeed pregnant, Glenn’s fate is even more concerning!
