RECAP:

With the sudden reappearance of her husband to contend with, Claire is finally being honest with herself. And it seems their marriage wasn’t exactly a happy one. In fact, prior to his assumed death, Sean appeared to be on the brink of leaving her.

Apparently, not long after their son got ill, they began to withdraw from each other. So in a story heard many times before, Claire turned to someone she shouldn’t have and that only ended up causing even more friction between her and her husband. So Sean then did what he felt he had to. He found a way to get himself out of that house before he said or did something he couldn’t take back.

However, on that secret mission he volunteered for, Sean inadvertently ran into trouble and the last anyone had heard from him he had been experiencing engine trouble. Hence, when nothing else about him or his plane could be found; it was just assumed that he crashed. Though now everyone knows differently. And it really is better to find a body before proclaiming someone had died in action.

Because while Sean is alive – he’s not the same Sean!

This Sean that is hiding and snooping around is not the same man that once served his country. So unfortunately that has made many believe that this Sean could have gotten himself involved in extremism.

Unfortunately, Claire took a few days off of work so it’s her partner, that’s one pretty gungho on arresting Sean, that’s taken lead on the investigation. And he had the other agents running point as if Sean really is Drill. But the real Drill is working an even bigger angle.

He or it has been trying to get Minx to play a game and she no longer wants to be friends. After she had run away, her parents eventually found her and then sought to get her some help. So they took her to a therapist. And, truly, the doctor tried to be of some assistance but the sad fact is he really didn’t understand the situation.

See, he told Minx that Drill wasn’t real. He even went on to say that she had to let Drill go in order to be happy again. So Minx believed this therapist and told Drill that she didn’t want to play anymore. Only, that made Drill mad.

It’s possible that Drill needs her for something more than deterring her father.

Wes has has caught on to some parts of the “plan” so he knows that Drill or Sean is trying to cause a government or global meltdown of some kind. But Wes didn’t put the pieces together until after he had spoken to Claire. So when Claire told him that whoever is behind this upcoming meltdown has been passing themselves off as imaginary friends to kids – that’s when he knew he had already been targeted.

So far, every time that Drill has made a move using one of the kids, a parent has always gotten injured. The boy that blew himself up did so to avoid hurting anyone. Though sadly his mother did receive injuries from the fire.

And with Harper, she helped Drill injure her mother. Yet she didn’t that was going to happen beforehand. It seems Drill likes to keep her mostly in the dark because he knows that’s how to manipulate her.

Minx however is insightful. So while she was finally talking to her father – her therapist got into a freak car accident after a kid made him swerve into an oncoming car.

Minx, you see, knew what she was investigating for Drill. So she told her dad and Claire about the power plant that Drill asked her to look for. And by cooperating, she helped them figure out where Drill was going to be hitting next.

Though, by time they were able to arrange a task force, Sean and his captive had already reached the facility!
