“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Gabriel’s (Justin Hartley) secret is about to blow up Genoa City. It looks like Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will get fed up with Adam’s (Justin Hartley) antics after she learns he lied about the Paragon Project. Based on this week’s promo, it seems Chelsea will spill the beans about Gabe’s true identity on Friday, October 2. There’s a good chance that’ll be the cliffhanger, which means Monday is when all the real action will start to go down.
Adam is in deep trouble, but his partner in crime may be facing an even tougher battle. We’re not talking about Ian (Ray Wise), though he’ll probably have his own fair share of difficulties by the end of all this. Instead, let’s consider the emotional rollercoaster Sage (Kelly Sullivan) is going to take a ride on. Lately, it almost feels like the writers want us to forget about Sage’s darker days.
Now Sage pretty much just gazes adoringly at Nick (Joshua Morrow) and waits to be hospitalized for the umpteenth time. Nevertheless, we have to remember that Sage played a huge role in Adam’s return to Genoa City as a whole new man.
Sage gave Adam her dead husband’s face so she could collect the inheritance money, but she eventually dropped the scheme when she supposedly fell for Nick. You could argue that Sage also had money on her mind when she hooked up with Newman number two, but it appears she really did fall for him somewhere along the way. Sage has turned over a new leaf since she’s been with Nick, especially now that she’s expecting her miracle baby. Of course, Y&R rumors hint that Sage may be pregnant with Adam’s child after all, which could make this situation far worse.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Sage will soon be living in a world of regret as all of her lies catch up with her. Sage has been worrying herself sick over Victor, but he may be the least of her problems. Nick will be stunned once the truth is revealed. This betrayal will be tough to get past. Sage has faced a traumatic pregnancy already and this ordeal might be enough to send her into premature labor. We all know that Sage’s delivery won’t be without a few complications.
When the smoke clears and the dust settles, could Nick forgive Sage for everything she’s done? In fact could he forgive her for anything she has done? It’s possible but seems a stretch at this point. Even if this is Adam’s baby, it wouldn’t be the first time Nick chose to raise a child as his own. Nick loved Cassie (Camryn Grimes) like his biological daughter and he could love this baby as well. However, it’s going to be a while before Nick allows himself to trust Sage again.
Nick and Sharon (Sharon Case) have shared a couple of warm moments recently. Perhaps we shouldn’t count out their reunion just yet. Will Nick work things out with Sage or will he find comfort with a former flame? Stay tuned to “The Young and the Restless” for updates on Nick’s rocky road to romance.
