“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, October 14, tease that Devon (Bryton James) and Dylan (Steve Burton) won’t have any luck in their search for Hilary (Mishael Morgan). The address they were given was bogus.
They’ll head over to the police station to give Paul (Doug Davidson) the news. Paul will be irritated that they’ve been trying to handle this on their own. Dylan will pipe up that he’ll make sure Paul gets the serial numbers from the ransom money. Paul will be happy to hear that Dylan is thinking like a cop.
At the athletic club, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will make some cryptic comments. When Cane insists that Devon won’t find Hilary at the location he was given, Lily (Christel Khalil) will question how he could know for sure. Cane will reply that it just doesn’t add up, but Lily will believe he’s just being a Debbie Downer. Devon will call to notify them that he’s no closer to getting Hilary back. Lily will start to worry that all of this stress is really starting to get to Devon.
Meanwhile, Gwen (Nadine Nicole) will get interesting information from Emma (Alice Greczyn). A doctor was fired, but he’s brilliant. Gwen will realize this eccentric Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) could be just what Hilary needs. This guy can supposedly work miracles. Gwen will take a trip back to the lake house to give Neil (Kristoff St. John) updates on what she’s learned.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will hear Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) asking someone to take care of “her” for a few more days. Billy will wonder who she’s talking about and Chloe will claim it’s her dog. Chloe will quickly change the subject to Adam (Justin Hartley) and a possible plot to kill him.
Together they can do it without getting caught. Billy will shoot down the idea and insist he’s not going to jail for murder. Chloe will laugh it off and suggest she was just joking around. Chloe will let Billy know that she won’t be in town during Adam’s trial.
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will visit Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in hopes of getting her to testify for Adam. Chelsea will state that she doesn’t want to be there. Besides, Chelsea is still planning on leaving Genoa City. Michael will head to Newman Enterprises, where he’ll find Adam and Victor (Eric Braeden) bickering.
Victor will put pressure on Adam to stop the Paragon virus immediately, but Adam will be arrogant as usual. It seems Adam is more concerned about his own goals. Adam will be determined to fight for his family. Michael will tell Adam that Chelsea is refusing to testify, but Adam won’t give up. A subpoena should do the trick.
At Chelsea’s penthouse, Chloe will show up and start ranting about Adam. Chelsea will defend her own actions. It wasn’t about protecting Adam. It was about protecting Connor (Michael and Nolan Webb). However, Chelsea will say that’s all in the past and she’s putting Adam behind her.
Suddenly, Adam will knock on the door and Chloe will rip into him, too. Chloe will eventually leave to talk to Delia (Sophie Pollono) in the park. At Delia’s tree, Chloe will let her daughter know that she intends on making things right.
Elsewhere, Billy will chat with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about his concern for Chloe. Victoria will hint that Billy might want to try forgiving Adam. Revenge isn’t going to help anything. Billy will reply that he doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to forgive Adam for what he’s done.
Back at Chelsea’s place, Adam will hand over a subpoena and Chelsea will be annoyed. Adam will believe that he can win her over once he proves himself, but Chelsea will insist that he might not like what she has to say on the stand.
Still, it’s clear that Adam has no intention of letting Chelsea walk out of his life for good. Adam will suggest that he’s already dead if Chelsea never comes back to him. Y&R rumors hint that Chelsea will find it difficult to stay away from her husband. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Adam and Chelsea will reunite in the face of adversity.
