“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, September 3, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a chat with Victor (Eric Braeden) about his fight to visit Connor (Michael and Nolan Webb) once a week. Victor will be adamant that he can’t let Gabriel (Justin Hartley) take over Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) life and make all her decisions. Nikki will worry that Victor may lose Connor entirely if he pushes Chelsea too far.
Chelsea will freak out and fear that Victor will be able to control her forever if she doesn’t do something. A lawyer will urge Chelsea to give Victor the option of bi-monthly visits. Chelsea should also move to Paris. The court system won’t be easily influenced by Victor’s power over there. Unfortunately, Victor will turn down the offer and throw the lawyer out of his office. When the lawyer reports back, Chelsea won’t know what to do. Adam (Justin Hartley) will declare that he’s going to take care of this.
Adam will get in Gabriel mode and head over to confront Victor. Gabe will shout that Victor should have compromised and he won’t let him win. Victor will snap back that he’ll make sure Gabriel never sees Connor again. When Adam returns to Chelsea, he’ll find her all packed up and ready to go. Chelsea will say she couldn’t let Victor do this. Adam will realize that Chelsea was going to leave without him. Chelsea will say she didn’t want to put Adam’s identity at risk. If they get arrested, he could be fingerprinted. Adam will insist on going with Chelsea anyway.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Lily (Christel Khalil) will decide to tell Cane (Daniel Goddard) about Colin’s (Tristan Rogers) blackmail scheme. Cane will confront Colin about it, but Colin will claim that he wrapped all of that up. Cane will think what Colin did was pretty low, but he’ll agree to keep everything under wraps for Devon’s (Bryton James) sake. Later, Jill (Jess Walton) will question Colin about a large sum of money in their account. Colin will inform Jill that he won big while gambling.
Meanwhile, Nikki will try to apologize to Neil (Kristoff St. John) for doubting him. Neil will suggest that their friendship ended when Nikki asked Victor to check into his trip to Canada. After leaving Neil, Nikki will demand to know why Victor gave Neil updates on her request. Victor will make excuses, but Nikki won’t be pleased. Nikki will figure out that Victor is forcing Neil to stay away from her. At the police station, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will have a slight tiff, but they’ll ultimately agree to take the next step as a couple. They’ll make plans for a date in the near future.
Sharon (Sharon Case) will give Mariah the news that she’s been sleeping with Dylan (Steve Burton) often and she thinks she’s pregnant. Mariah will urge Sharon to be cautious here. Nothing has been confirmed and Sharon might be overly optimistic. Elsewhere, Dylan will turn down Devon’s request to go to the island and help prove Devon’s innocence. Sharon will realize that she’s the reason Dylan isn’t going. When Sharon brings it up, Dylan will state that this is the life he wants. Dylan likes the idea of being there for Sharon and the baby.
Neil will let Devon know that he’s there for him and he wishes he could help. However, it’s probably not a good idea for Neil to go to the island. The media would have a field day. Devon will understand and thank Neil for his support. Cane will step up and head to the island instead. Later, Neil will enter a boathouse and check out an IV bag. We’ll see Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) hand and eventually, her face. It seems Neil has kidnapped Hilary and is holding her hostage somewhere. Hilary appears to be unconscious for now, but what will happen once she wakes up? Y&R rumors say Neil may have a tough time getting out of the mess he’s caused.
