“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, September 2, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will try to cover up her bizarre behavior by saying she went off her meds for a few days. Dylan (Steve Burton) will be concerned, but Sharon will say that she’s back on them now. Later, Sharon will drop an ovulation kit out of her purse, but she’ll manage to hide it. Dylan will open up to Sharon about how he wants to be with her and it’s not just because of the baby – good thing!
At The Underground, Marisa (Sofia Pernas) will insist that she never accepted Victor’s (Eric Braeden) bribe and she’ll tear up the check. Victor will contend that he assumed Marisa would take it because of the crowd she normally runs with. Noah (Robert Adamson) will agree that Victor stepped over the line with his offer, but he won’t be so sure that Marisa isn’t after his money. Marisa will indicate that she’s never felt love like she shares with Noah, but maybe he thinks she isn’t good enough. As Marisa starts to leave, Noah will grab her and pull her into a kiss.
A short time later, Marisa will give Sage (Kelly Sullivan) updates on what happened with Victor. Sage will imply that Marisa should watch her back. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will walk in and hear Sage’s comments. Nick will declare that he won’t let Victor come between them. Nevertheless, Sage will worry that Victor will try to get rid of her once their baby is born.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will question Victor about his plans for Connor (Michael and Nolan Webb). Victor will assure Victoria that he won’t try to take Connor away from Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), but he won’t let Gabriel (Justin Hartley) influence her decisions. Victoria will suggest that Victor shouldn’t just dismiss Gabe like that. Gabriel could be a viable threat. Meanwhile, Gabriel will let Chelsea know that he wants to forget about this battle against Victor. With Anita’s (Catherine Bach) blessing, they’ll get ready to head back to Paris.
Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will tell Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that IT checked out Jack’s computer and it came up clean. It seems Jack really isn’t behind the Paragon Project. Jack will be irked that Billy was still suspicious, but Billy will argue that Jack has provided plenty of reasons to doubt him over the last few months. Billy will ask Jack about the true reason he’s stepping down as CEO. Jack will indicate that he’s done fighting and it’s time to pass the torch onto Ashley. Jack will write Ashley a heartfelt note and assure her he’ll be there if she needs him.
Later, Victor will inform Jack that this might not be the best moment to hand over the reins. It looks like both the Abbotts and the Newmans could be at risk due to this mysterious Paragon Project. Someone could be out to get all of them. Elsewhere, Chelsea and Adam (Justin Hartley) will get the news that Victor is suing Chelsea for visitation rights. They can’t go anywhere until this is sorted out. Y&R rumors hint that Adam and Chelsea will fight back, but it’s doubtful that they can really counter Victor’s power. They’ll probably have to stay in Genoa City for good. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Chelsea and Adam can give Victor a run for his money.
