“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] could be hoarding one heck of a surprise witness to get his son, Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] out of the slammer. Victor has been hard at work to get Adam out of jail; however, his reason could be completely selfish.
Victor is convinced that the only person that can help him combat the Abbott’s and Ian Ward [Ray Wise] is his son Adam. He sees Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow] as lacking a backbone and voiced concerns if he could trust his daughter, Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle] due to her connection and loyalty to Billy Abbott [Burgess Jenkins].
Victor meets with Adam’s Lawyer, Michael Baldwin [Christian LeBlanc] and develops a unique legal strategy to win the appeal. Michael becomes frustrated with Victor because he feels the pressure the Mustache is placing on him. Victor lets him in on a huge secret- he has a surprise witness who has KEY information that will vindicate Adam.
Michael was shocked to hear that he had a surprise witness lined up. He wonders why they didn’t use this witness during the trial. Victor dismisses his questions and reveals the details of this witness. The preview shows Michael looking extremely surprised, but hopeful that Adam may have a shot to beat the charges after all.
Victor’s claims of having a surprise witness sent shock waves on social media. Is it possible that Victor found Gabriel Bingham [Justin Hartley] and plans to force him to testify for Adam? If not Gabriel, it could be Sage Warner [Kelly Sullivan] that may bring helpful information about Delia’s [Sophie Pollono] death.
Sage could know key information about her death as fans have speculated for over a year that she and Gabe were the drivers who hit the young child. Victor could have figured it out and threatened to expose her as the one who changed Adam’s face, publicly if she didn’t do, just as he said. If Nick found out about her role in the identity change, it COULD ruin her whole marriage.
Victor told Adam that he knew that Sage’s child, Christian was his son, not his brother, Nick’s baby. He threatened to tell his wife if he didn’t do, just as he said. He scared Adam enough that he plans on joining Victor to fight the Paragon virus, the very computer malware that he started to bring his father’s business down.
