‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Billy Blamed For Flack’s Embezzlement Scam, Loses Victoria and Connor

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that the battle between Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack’s (Peter Bergman) doppelganger is about to heat up. If you’ve been watching Y&R, you know that Flack has decided to double-cross Victor and frame him for felony embezzlement leading to The Moustache’s recent arrest. However, Flack doesn’t want to do his own dirty work so he’s enlisted the rest of the Abbott clan. In other words, Flack is the mastermind and the Abbotts are his minions.

Flack directed Billy (Burgess Jenkins), Gabriel (Justin Hartley), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) to syphon money from their respective departments. Then, Flack directed Kyle to wire the funds into an account that was established in Victor’s name. Here’s where it all goes wrong. Everyone knows Victor isn’t sloppy. He would never just wire himself money to an account that would be so traceable. Victor would be far more careful. When Kyle goes to Paul (Doug Davidson) with the news about Victor’s embezzlement, Paul is skeptical.

On the Monday, June 22, episode of “The Young and the Restless,” Summer (Hunter King) tells Paul that she knows Kyle, Billy and Flack framed Victor. Paul seems interested in what Summer has to say. Now what is this going to mean for the Abbotts? Ashley warned everyone that Flack’s scheme was a mistake and NO one would listen to her. Kyle went along with it because he wanted to please his dad, but Billy went along with it for a far different reason. Even when Ashley tried to convince Billy that the plan was a mistake, he didn’t care. Billy just wanted to stick it to Victor. Ashley confronts Billy and says, “You let everyone think that it was Victor who embezzled the money, but I know that Victor was set up. Billy, this is payback for you to Victor because you hate him!”

The person who has the most to lose in this caper is Billy, who’s been trying to get back together with Victoria. Victoria is suspicious and she knows Billy had something to do with Victor being framed. She says, “I know what you did to my father!” Billy responds, “I don’t care! Victor did this!” Victoria coldly says, “Happy Father’s Day, Billy,” and walks out. Clearly, Billy has destroyed any chance he ever had of getting back together with Victoria.

When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) finds out that Billy was involved in setting up Victor, she is not going to be pleased either. Billy has been a surrogate father to Victor’s grandson, Connor (Michael and Nolan Webb). After this debacle is revealed, Chelsea certainly won’t be letting Billy come around.

Of course, Billy told Ashley that he had everyone’s back, so it seems Billy will take the fall for framing Victor. We all know Flack is not going to admit he was the brains of this operation. Will Billy go down for the setup? The rumors hint that things are about to get pretty complicated and ugly for The Abbotts. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” to see if Billy will regret going along with Flack’s scheme.

So Y&R fans, what do you think about Paul’s feeling that Victor is too smart to have done this? When Billy learns their plan is falling apart, will he step up and take the blame? What will happen when Victoria and Chelsea get updates on Billy’s involvement in the scheme – will it permanently destroy his relationship with them? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
