“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, April 2, hint that several Genoa City residents will continue to hide the truth. Joe (Scott Elrod) will ask Avery (Jessica Collins) to join him for dinner to discuss possible charity donors. Avery will be hesitant at first, but Joe will insist that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will be there. It’s all strictly business. At dinner, Joe will discuss how abuse affected his life as a child. Jack will declare that he’s making a donation and he’ll ask the guests at his wedding donate in lieu of gifts. Later, Phyllis will get Joe to admit that he still feels a deep bond with Avery.
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will apologize to Lauren (Tracy E. Bregman) for his behavior when she tried to surprise him and he’ll offer to make it up to her. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will show up and after Lauren excuses herself, Michael will question Kevin about his suspension. Kevin won’t divulge any details about what’s been going on and Michael will be angry that he’s keeping secrets from him. Kevin will say that Michael should be happy since his treatments are almost over, but Michael will reply that he’s just not the same man now. It looks like things may never be the same for Michael and Lauren.
Meanwhile, Jill (Jess Walton) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) will bicker over the structure of Chancellor. Cane won’t be pleased that Colin (Tristan Rogers) has been by Jill’s side in the decision-making process. Jill will tell Cane to stop worrying about Chancellor and start focusing on his marriage. When Jill leaves, Cane and Colin will have an intense conversation about the company. Cane will say that Colin has been playing him, but he doesn’t intend to move on. Later, Cane will join Lauren at the bar. Michael will see them together and text Lauren that he’s not coming. As Cane and Lauren have dinner together, Michael will watch from the doorway.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Noah (Robert Adamson) will share the news of his engagement with Sharon (Sharon Case). Courtney (Kelli Goss) will say that they plan on getting married tomorrow at the park. Dylan (Steve Burton) and Noah will quietly argue about whether or not Sharon could have murdered Austin (Matthew Atkinson). When Sharon senses that something’s up, Noah will admit that Dylan thinks she might have killed Austin. They’ll fill Sharon in on what they know, including how Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) left the lipstick message to get her to confess. Sharon will send Noah and Courtney away to plan their wedding. Later, Courtney will get instructions from Kevin about how to get the surveillance footage.
Once Sharon and Dylan are alone, Dylan will question her about driving through woods. Sharon will say that she had a panic attack and she thought driving around would help. Dylan will listen as Sharon sarcastically confesses to going to the Abbott cabin, murdering Austin and using her superhuman strength to move the body. Sharon will say that she’s not a monster and she wouldn’t do that with Faith (Aly Lind) in the car. Dylan will bring up the interview in Austin’s documentary and Sharon will realize that he thinks it gives her a good motive for murder. After Dylan heads home, Sharon will have a flashback about driving in the storm and being unable to see in bright lights.
