“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, June 25, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) finally makes it back to Genoa City. Jack will go home and put on one of his suits. A short time later, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will ask what Jack’s doing there. Jack will reply that he just wanted to see Phyllis. As they pull each other close, Phyllis will say that she feels like everything is going to be OK now.
When Summer (Hunter King) shows up, she’ll indicate that Victor (Eric Braeden) warned her to stay away from fake Jack. Summer will hint that Victor believes he’s dangerous, but Jack will say he’s not that man. After getting a text from Marisa (Sofia Pernas), Jack will head out. Phyllis will remark how the Jack that held her today felt like the old Jack. Summer will brush it off, but Phyllis will say that this is the closest she’s felt to Jack in a long time.
Gabriel (Justin Hartley) will demand that fake Jack tell him who he really is. Fake Jack will blame his memory loss on his recent brain injury, but Gabe won’t buy it. Eventually, fake Jack will admit that the real Jack is dead and he’s been taking his place. Gabriel will declare he’s going to expose the truth, but fake Jack will threaten to everyone he’s Adam if he spills the beans. Jack’s doppelganger will say that he wants Gabriel to help him fake his death and pin it on Victor. In exchange, fake Jack will give Gabe control of the company, a life with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and a chance to be the person he truly wants to be.
Gabriel will question Jack about his plan and fake Jack will mention that Victor would kill to protect his family. Fake Jack will pull out a bullet proof vest and some phony blood. It looks like Marco hopes to provoke Victor and get him to pull the trigger. Victor should’ve known this guy would be bad news. Of course, having the real Jack back in Genoa City could throw the plan off course. Marisa will see the impostor talking to Gabriel and she’ll tell Jack about it. Jack will realize that he has to get updates on what’s up before he can take his life back. Marisa will question Jack about his revenge scheme and he’ll promise to keep her posted.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will thank Lily (Christel Khalil) for her forgiveness. Cane will sense that something’s wrong and he’ll question Lily about it. Lily will assure him that everything is fine. Cane will begin kissing Lily in a room at the athletic club. When Cane tries to take it further, Lily will stop him. Cane will explain that he didn’t sleep with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and he’ll ask if this is about Joe (Scott Elrod). Cane will wonder if Joe made a move on Lily at the bar, but she’ll say she just opened up to him about their struggles. Lily will add that she wishes she’d never told Joe anything at all.
Avery (Jessica Collins) will call Joe and ask him to meet her in the park. Joe will be concerned that Avery will have him arrested, but she’ll insist that she just wants to put everything behind them before it gets out of hand. When they see each other, Avery will say that Joe is scum for sleeping with Lily. They’ll argue and Joe will grab Avery’s arm. Avery will shout that Joe is hurting her and he needs to stop. Avery will turn away momentarily and when she looks back, Joe will be gone.
Later, Avery will hear a noise as she enters her home. Suddenly, someone dressed in black will grab Avery from behind. The intruder will place a hand over Avery’s mouth to stifle her screams. Y&R rumors indicate that Avery will likely be brutally raped. Will Avery ever get justice for this vicious attack? Stay tuned to the CBS soap to find out what the future holds for Avery.
