“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, June 11, reveal that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will be surprised when Michael (Christian LeBlanc) doesn’t mind the idea of Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) cheating. Michael will contend that he just wants Lauren to be happy. Cane will think Michael’s gone off the deep end, especially since Cane is married to Lily (Christel Khalil). Michael will imply that Cane’s relationship may not be as solid as he thinks it is.
Meanwhile, Lily will tell Lauren that she knows everything thanks to Michael. Lauren will reply that the kiss didn’t mean anything and Lily will be shocked. Lauren will suggest that it’s Lily’s fault for pushing Cane away. Lily will rip into Cane because he locked lips with Lauren. Cane will downplay it, but Lily will think his actions are inexcusable. Later, Cane will wonder why Lauren told Lily and she’ll say was duped into spilling the story. Lily and Cane will become fed up with the whole situation. Cane will decide to get a room at the athletic club for the night.
After Sharon (Sharon Case) provides the news that Avery (Jessica Collins) has been found safe and sound, Joe (Scott Elrod) will demand an apology from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Phyllis will say she’s sorry for slapping Joe and he’ll reply that she didn’t. Phyllis will promptly give Joe a good smack and warn him to leave Genoa City. Once Phyllis heads out, Joe will hint that a “bad girl” like Sharon should be fighting for Dylan (Steve Burton). Sharon will say that she won’t let her doubts get in the way. It always leads to trouble when she gives into her insecurities. As Joe exits, an undercover cop will follow him.
Dylan will ask if Avery was trying to frame Joe for murder, but she’ll say her cut finger led to the bloody scene. Avery will want to get out of town, but Dylan will urge her to stand up to Joe. Dylan will add that he knows they aren’t together anymore, but he’d miss her if she was gone. Phyllis will arrive and angrily shout that Avery would be a coward to run.
After Phyllis leaves, Dylan will once again try to convince Avery to stay in control of this situation. As they hug, Joe will show up and comment on the cozy reunion. Avery will lash out at Joe for his threats and he’ll say that she seduced him. When the detective makes his entrance, Joe will tell him to arrest Avery. At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) will listen to Joe and Avery give conflicting accounts of what happened. Dylan will hand over photos of Avery’s bruises and imply that Joe has no proof. Avery will say that she wants a restraining order and Joe will say he wants one as well. When they wrap things up, Dylan will go home to Sharon and indicate that he’s still committed to her.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Phyllis will give Michael updates on what happened with Avery. Talk will turn to Michael’s relationship with Lauren and Phyllis will say that love isn’t all about sex. Michael will reply that he’s taken precautions to make sure Lauren won’t have to adapt, but he fears others have been hurt because of his tough choices. Michael will hint that Phyllis should patch things up with Avery and appreciate what she has in her life. Later, Lauren will question Michael about his recent actions and suggest that she doesn’t even know him anymore.
As Lily drowns her sorrows in alcohol, Joe will see her and wonder what’s wrong. When Lily asks if he thinks she’s pretty, Joe will say he finds her very attractive. Lily will thank him for saying so and she’ll head home to see her kids. Y&R rumors indicate that Lily and Joe could end up in bed together soon. Stay tuned to the CBS soap to see if this storyline will lead to more trouble for Joe.
