“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, April 17, reveal that some relationships will speed up as others slow down. While Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) gets dressed, she’ll imply that she can’t believe she just slept with Gabriel (Justin Hartley). Gabe will say that the chemistry they have together is undeniable and he’ll urge Chelsea to reconsider marrying Billy (Burgess Jenkins). Chelsea will go home and tell Billy that they need to talk. Billy will divulge that he kissed Victoria (Amelia Heinle), but he’ll indicate that he regrets it. Billy will say that he wants to marry Chelsea and he’ll ask for her forgiveness. Chelsea will reply that we all need to be forgiven sometimes and she’ll suggest that they get married right away.
Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will eavesdrop as Noah (Robert Adamson) talks to Nick (Joshua Morrow) about Sharon (Sharon Case). Noah won’t think Sharon is really capable of murder and Nick will reply that Sharon is dangerous when her back is against the wall. Nick will say that his main concern is protecting Faith (Aly Lind). Later, Sage’s credit card will be declined at the athletic club and Nick will hand over his. Nick will joke that it’s an advance on Sage’s salary.
At Crimson Lights, some of the cabin crew will discuss Paul’s (Doug Davidson) press conference about Sharon. Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) will feel better now that Sharon’s been arrested, but Summer (Hunter King) will wish that Sharon would’ve gotten more than house arrest. Dylan (Steve Burton) will defend Sharon to Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and indicate they have to get one step ahead of the real killer. Noah will arrive and mention that he’s been looking for the necklace he gave Courtney (Kelli Goss) as a wedding gift. Later, Stitch will worry that Victoria might think he’s inventing reasons to stay with Abby (Melissa Ordway), but Abby will think that’s crazy. Stitch will say that maybe it’s not. Y&R rumors hint that Abby and Stitch will sleep together soon so stick with CDL for updates as their relationship takes a complicated turn.
Meanwhile, Summer will tell Kyle that she thinks they’re moving a little too fast. Kyle will say that he doesn’t want to push Summer and she’ll reply that she still needs him in her life. Let’s see how long this whole “slowing down” thing will last for these two lovebirds.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Sharon will thank Michael (Christian LeBlanc) for helping with her case, but she’ll imply that it’s a lost cause. Dylan will show up and tell Sharon that she has to fight. Michael will get a call about a search warrant for Sharon’s house. Sharon will worry that evidence has been planted on the property. They’ll look everywhere and Dylan will find Courtney’s necklace in the trunk of Sharon’s vehicle. Sharon will protest that she’s never seen it before and she’s being framed. When Noah arrives, he’ll shout that Courtney was wearing that necklace when she died and everything is pointing to Sharon as the killer. As the show ends the police are at Sharon’s door to begin their search!
Sage will go to the penthouse for her belongings and Adam will give her the signed divorce papers. Sage will be pleased that Adam did the decent thing and Adam will hint that he’s hopeful about his future with Chelsea. Sage will bring up the fact that Adam is lying and Chelsea will eventually learn the truth. Sooner or later, all of this will blow up in Adam’s face. Adam will grow angry and throw Sage out. As she leaves, Sage will warn Chelsea about making any life-changing decisions involving Gabriel. Now that the divorce papers are signed, Gabe has no obstacles and he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Chelsea will tell Gabriel that Billy kissed Victoria and she was just using Gabe to lash out. Gabriel will be shocked that Chelsea still intends on marrying Billy. Chelsea will say that their passionate moment was a mistake, but Gabe will indicate that it didn’t feel like one. Chelsea will want to pretend it never happened. A short time later, Billy will question why Chelsea was at Gabe’s apartment. Chelsea will say she just wanted to tell Gabe the news that they moved up their wedding date. Billy will be glad that she shut Gabriel down so they can move on. Of course, we all know that Adam won’t stop until Chelsea is back in his arms once again.
