“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, October 7, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will worry about the damage that’s being done to Newman Enterprises. They now know the source of the threat, but the risk remains. At this rate, they could lose everything. Adam (Justin Hartley) has been desperately trying to stop the Paragon Project, but Ian (Ray Wise) assured him that the virus was indestructible.
Besides, if Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) intends on shutting Adam out of her life, then he might move forward with the plot as planned. What does Adam really have to lose? Adam may fight to get revenge on Victor (Eric Braeden) after all.
Fortunately, there might be a way out of this mess. “The Young and the Restless” preview video for Wednesday shows Victor checking his phone to discover a potential solution to his problem. It’s not clear what Victor’s idea will be, but there’s a good chance it will work out in his favor. Victor always manages to emerge relatively unscathed when others try to take him down.
Adam, on the other hand, could find himself in more trouble than ever. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will give Paul (Doug Davidson) updates on the dire situation. Nikki will exclaim that Adam is alive and warn that Billy (Burgess Jenkins) is missing and has gone after him.
Paul’s eyes will widen as he realizes just how bad things could get. Billy wants justice and he doesn’t seem to care about the consequences. Paul will probably want to locate Billy and stop him from making a big mistake. Killing Adam might help Billy cope with losing Delia (Sophie Pollono), but it certainly wouldn’t benefit his other children. It’s hard to be a decent father when you’re sitting in a prison cell.
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) will let Colin (Tristan Rogers) know that someone is holding Hilary (Mishael Morgan) for ransom. It won’t take Colin long to pick up on the fact that Devon thinks he’s the culprit. To be fair, no one would be surprised if the accusation were true.
However, this time Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) the guy with something to hide. Y&R rumors hint that the truth will come out eventually, but Neil and Gwen (Nadine Nicole) will try to keep everything under wraps for now. Stick with the CBS soap to see when Devon will learn Neil’s secret.
