“The Young and the Restless” spoilers are in, and it looks like Y&R has found a way to vindicate Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) in Delia’s death. A Y&R inside source revealed exclusively to CDL that the show was looking forward to recasting a young girl, aged 8-10 years old. The casting call stated that it was for an established character. It wasn’t for Faith Newman (Aly Lind) because they have two actors who portray her. It is heavy speculated that the show is looking forward to recasting Delia Abbott.
Is it possible that Delia never died? In fact, it was speculated that may be where the storyline is going. The theory is that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was trying to protect her daughter from Billy (Burgess Jenkins) – and was terrified of losing custody of her in the court battle. Instead of letting a judge decide whom Delia would live with, Chloe decided to take matters in her own hands. She faked her daughter’s death and hid her from everyone she knew.
Adam may stumble upon information that leads him to Chloe’s whereabouts. When he finds her, he sees her with Delia. Confused and shocked, Adam confronts Chloe and she tells him why she had to hide her daughter. At that point, Adam will have to decide if he wants to reveal Delia’s alive and come out as Adam Newman or protect sweet Delia and allow her to continue living in hiding.
Another theory is that Sage had something to do with Delia’s death. Ever since Sage came to Genoa City, fans have speculated that she was somehow at fault for her death. Recently, the rumor started that Sage may have kidnaped Delia. The details are not clear about where Delia is being kept or how Sage could have pulled off such a scheme. It is speculated Sage’s reason was that she wanted to be a mother and was told she could never conceive. How would Sage handle the situation now that she finds herself pregnant with a Newman baby?
Lately, Billy has made it his life’s work to tell everyone that Sage had it rough married to Gabriel Bingham. Billy stands up for her every chance he can. How would Billy feel if Sage turns out to be the once responsible for Delia’s disapearance? What will Billy do if he found out Sage was hiding Delia and cost him YEARS of being a father, just so she could live out the fantasy of being a mother?
