“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, June 17, tease that Jack’s (Peter Bergman) doppelganger will talk to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about a woman he fell in love with years ago. Fake Jack will explain that one of his contacts informed him that Manuela and her husband died. Phyllis will seem touched that fake Jack opened up to her and he’ll indicate that he’s grateful his past led him to her. Fake Jack will vow that he won’t let anyone take away his new life.
Meanwhile, the real Jack will faint as Marisa (Sofia Pernas) begs him to stay alive. When Jack wakes up, he’ll find that Marisa has put some clean clothes on him. Marisa and Jack will chat about Marco (aka fake Jack) and she’ll say that her true love left her. Jack will wonder if his friends and family in Genoa City believe he’s dead. Jack really could end up dead if he doesn’t act fast, but he’ll be too weak to go on. Marisa will decide to leave and get some help.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will see Victor (Eric Braeden) with a folder and she’ll be curious what he has up his sleeve. Victor will say that he has some info that could be used against Jack, but he has to handle this on his own. Victoria will be surprised that Victor doesn’t want her to get any more updates from Billy (Burgess Jenkins) on the situation. After Victoria leaves, Victor will make a phone call to find out if Jack is really dead. Victoria will run into Abby (Melissa Ordway), who’s been feeling out of the loop on the Abbott scheme as well. They’ll agree to team up to do a bit of digging.
At Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place, Gabriel (Justin Hartley) and Billy will argue about the plan to bring down Victor. Billy will try to get to the bottom of why Gabe is so committed to crushing Victor. Eventually, Gabriel will lie by saying he’s fake Jack’s son. Billy won’t buy it and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will agree that they need to see some proof. Gabe will indicate that he hasn’t known long, but the Abbotts should ask fake Jack about it if they have questions. When Chelsea and Gabriel are alone, she’ll rip into him for keeping such a huge secret from her. Gabe will hint that he was just trying to process everything, but Chelsea will tell him to get out.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that fake Jack will be summoned by Victor, but he’ll tell Phyllis he can handle it. After fake Jack departs, Phyllis will use Ashley’s computer to look up recent ship explosions. Ashley will pop in and declare that she doesn’t know who fake Jack is anymore. Phyllis will listen as Ashley says fake Jack allegedly has another son. At the athletic club, Abby and Victoria will turn on the charm to get info from Billy. The “truth” about fake Jack being Gabe’s father will come out. It seems news travels fast in Genoa City.
When fake Jack arrives to see Victor, they’ll get into a heated confrontation. Victor will call fake Jack a thug and suggest he was responsible for Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney’s (Kelli Goss) murders. Fake Jack won’t admit to anything, but he’ll shout that Victor is just as guilty as he is. Fake Jack will add that they’re the only two people who know about any of this. Maybe that’s one person too many. Victor will reach for his gun, but fake Jack will have it in his hand. When fake Jack raises it to shoot, Victor will say that fake Jack doesn’t have the guts to take him out. Fake Jack will ask Victor if he’s sure about that. Y&R rumors say that this storyline is nearing its exciting conclusion. Stick with the CBS soap to see how Victor’s mess will be cleared up.
