Tonight on Bravo Vanderpump Rules returns with a new Monday January 19, season 3 episode 12 called, “A Stand Against Stassi,” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode when Stassi Schroeder refuses to forgive Katie Maloney for attending Scheana Marie’s bachelorette party, Katie must either fight for her friendship or cut Stassi out of her life. Peter mistakes Vail’s flirting for interest and asks her on a date that quickly turns awkward.
On the last episode, Jax reunited with an old friend at Scheana’s Miami Beach bachelorette party, making the group wonder if Jax was hiding secrets about his sexual past. Tom Sandoval made a tearful plea to Kristen to stop harassing Ariana, and Lisa confronted Stassi for cutting Katie out of her life. Did you watch the last episode? Time for #PumpRules. Stassi is giving Kristina a ride to work. They talk about partying later and Kristina says she should always wear a push up bra and be sexy Stassi. They talk about everyone being back from Miami tonight. She asks Stassi how mad she is at Katie. Stassi is mad that she had to find it out from Scheana instead of her BFF telling her personally. Kristina says she knows why she went and why Stassi is mad. Stassi asks her to get her a to go order.
Stassi won’t pull up closer because of all the others. She tells her to pick her up at the back later instead of down the block. Kristen is taking orders and Katie is busy busy. Lisa comes in and sits at the bar. She asks what’s up with Jax. He asks if Scheana and Katie are good. Scheana comes over to hug her. She thanks Lisa for the upgraded room. She says they all got along and Lisa is happy to hear it. She says sometimes they come back from trips even more angry.
They talk about Stassi and Jax admits he’d give his left nut to be back with her. Tom is at the bar and we see a flashback to he and Kristen talking about their break up. She says if Ariana wasn’t around, they’d still be together. Vail is outside texting when Peter comes to ask her about Miami. She says she drank herself to oblivion. He flirts with her and she says she’s a make out slut when she drinks. She tells Peter that Jax is shady and messy but he looked good while she was drunk.
She doesn’t really remember what happened with Jax. Peter says he was there slaving away while the others were partying. She says he looks like he’s been working out and tells him he needs to button up his shirt. He says he can’t. He’s flirting and then talks about how he’s a ladies man but really wants a relationship. He’s clearly into Vail. Katie says she’s really concerned about Stassi being upset and is surprised to hear from others that Stassi is done with her.
Kristen offers Scheana a brew and she talks about the stress of the seating chart. James asks about Jax and Carmen but he says they’re not really a couple. Scheana says Jax’s dating life is screwing with her seating chart. James starts working with Scheana on her song. Scheana tells them she’s performing at her own reception. They talk about Miami and Jax continuing to lie about doing the chick on the guy’s trip. Scheana asks Kristen about talking with Tom and she says it was heavy.
James is mad that Kristen talked to Tom. He says he gets they have history but says he’s her Mr Right. He says he doesn’t know how much longer he can deal with this. Jax meets Carmen for lunch. He says he ordered for her and she sits. He thanks her for coming and says he didn’t think she really would. Jax says they had a nasty breakup when she told him to quit partying and get his act together. He says he deserved it. She says he shouldn’t be talking to her and instead talk to his GF.
He says he feels bad about how things ended. She tells him he has to be a nice guy to land a nice girl. She asks if he broke up with Tiffany and he nods. She says she doesn’t trust him and asks if he’s going to go back to her next week. He says it’s too hard with Tiffany but it was with Carmen. He says he’s trying to make amends. He apologizes for how he treated her and how it ended. He says he doesn’t want it to be weird with them.
He says Carmen is the best sex he’s ever had and says she told him the same thing. He then asks her to go to Scheana’s wedding as his date. She says no. She says she’ll see him there and then asks if he told Scheana to seat them together. He says he rented a beautiful cottage up there and she says not to that too. He says he has not ulterior motive. He says when he wants to get back with a girl, he wines and dines her but Carmen is giving him a run for his money.
Ariana and Tom comes to Sur. Vail, Scheana and Lisa show up next. Lisa checks on things as Peter opens it up. Peter comes to chat up Vail. He asks her to help him button his shirt cuff and she does. Ariana says she doesn’t need to see Peter and Vail trying to get laid. They flirt. Tom S comes in to say hi. Katie is there too and Scheana says she’s glad that Katie came to Miami. Lisa says Stassi has made her decision to alienate herself from the group but it’s different because she doesn’t work there.
Katie says she hasn’t talked to Stassi and that she was told by others that Stassi is done with her. Lisa says it’s crazy for Stassi to cut Katie off. She says she’s going to live alone on Stassi Island. Tom S says even by Stassi standards, she’s being really stubborn. He hopes they mend the friendship but says Stassi is also showing her true colors. Lisa says Katie has lived under Stassi’s shadow and says she’s done nothing wrong at all.
Kristen and Rachael are out for a hike to some of LA’s secret stairs. Kristen says Rachael used to date and that she’s a comedian and a lot of her jokes are about ex. Kristen says she got some texts from Miami girl saying she’s going to be in LA and wants to confront Tom in front of Ariana. She says Anne Marie told her that she had sex with Tom in Miami. She says Ariana then blocked her and then she talked about his junk being small and shaved. Kristen says it is.
Kristen says she 100% believes her and says Jax told her way before it came out but then later covered up for it. She says this whole thing will hit the fan if Miami girl comes to LA. She says she’d love to see the look on Tom’s face. Jax comes to Peter’s place and asks if he’s going out with Vail. Peter says he is. He says Vail has a nice hourglass figure like he likes. Jax asks what he’s after and Peter says he wants something real. Jax says Peter has zero game.
He tells him to be careful and says hooking up with girls at Sur gets you nowhere. They talk about the girls there they’ve hooked up with. Peter pulls out a hair straightener and Jax kids him then tells him he needs to clean his room in case he brings her back there. At Stassi’s, Jeremy, Kristina and Jen are there drinking champagne. She shows them her studio upstairs where she’s making statement necklaces. Stasis says statement necklaces are the best accessory. They tell her this is huge.
Stassi says the whole Sur crew thinks she’s a loser that lives off her parents. She asks what’s up and Kristina says Katie told her she was trying to reach out to her. Stassi says she sent one text that just said hey. Kristina asks her to think about why Katie decided to go. Stassi says she could forgive her if she gives a good apology for not telling her about it. Stassi says all she wants to see is a little bit of remorse. She says she’s thirsty for an apology for Katie since she hasn’t gone to the dark side just yet.
Vail is out for with Peter and he offers wine but she asks for tea since it’s the middle of the day. He says it’s 5 and she says it’s too aggressive to drink alcohol this early. She caves to peer pressure and he orders a bottle of Malbec. She says this is supposed to be a coffee date and it’s not something more. She says they’re not on the same page. He’s staring at her, trying to charm her. She seems off put and says it’s really awkward and she may have to tell him she’s a lesbian.
Vail says she’s not a lesbian anymore but could lie to him. She asks who he’s dated at Sur and he says Stassi. He says he was dating Stassi and Katie at the same time and she says he was being a douche. He agrees. She says he had overlap with Jax and he says they’re Eskimo brothers. She asks what the hell that is. Lisa takes Peter and Jax to see the kind of guy she’s attracted to. It’s a dog named Blutus. She says he’s a real sexy man and says she’d make out with him or do it doggie style.
They agree that he’s gorgeous. She tells Jax to get his dirty paws off him when he goes to pet the beautiful dog. Vail finds Peter in back when she goes to get coffee. He says they’re finally having coffee. Peter says he’s done with girls at Sur but then says maybe not. Peter goes to talk to Jax. Vail goes to tell Katie about the date. Peter says it was awkward. Lisa comes over and Jax tells her about Vail. She tells Jax she thought he liked Vail.
Then she tells Peter she heard he likes sloppy seconds and gasps. Then she tells Katie that Peter told her he and Jax had both dated her and Stassi. Lisa thinks it’s fantastic that Vail is giving them a run for their money. Lisa tells Peter she hopes he wouldn’t date someone on staff. Lisa asks if they need something and Jax says her presence is enough. She tells him to save that for his bimbos. Katie tells Vail that she and Stassi are meeting tomorrow to talk.
Vail tells Katie the amount of work she puts into her relationship with Stassi is crazy. But then she says if they could get past dating Peter at the same time, anything is possible. Kristen and James are out for lunch and he says he has a good feeling about Scheana’s next song. But Kristen says she needs to stop the whole porn star rapping thing. She tells James about the Miami check coming to tell Ariana about Tom. She asks what could happen.
She says she’s hell bent on confronting him. Kristen says she seems evil now but thinks he deserves it. James eats and isn’t happy that she’s obsessing. He says it’s strange how she’s pursuing this issue. She says the girl was texting her saying that Tom missed her and shouldn’t have jumped in with Ariana. She says that’s why she talked to Tom but says she was appalled. James isn’t happy but says she knows why Kristen is angry.
James reviews this and says if Anne Marie walks into Sur then that’s tough shit for him for sticking his dick into another girl while they were dating. Stassi meets Katie. Stassi asks what happened and Katie asks where she should start. Katie says she knows she’s upset with her but isn’t sure why. Stassi says it’s mainly the way she had to find out and says she never tried to talk to her. Stassi says she would have tried to get a hold of her if the situation was reversed.
Stassi tells her she owed it to her to tell her first or they weren’t that good of friends. Katie says there were closer than sisters and have been for four years. Katie says it’s crushing to know this friendship wasn’t equal. Katie says she’s been loyal to her for years. She tells Stassi to shut up and says it’s BS. Stassi says she doesn’t go on vacation with people she doesn’t like but Katie says it’s not about her. She says she wanted to go to Miami and asks Stassi what’s wrong with her.
She tells Stassi she supports her decisions and says this means a lot to Tom and says he’s important to her. She says she’s working hard on her relationship with him. Katie says Stassi moved to New York with an older guy for about four minutes and now treats them all like they are children. Stassi says she thought they shared the same opinion about them all. Katie says she has hatred in her heart. Stassi tells Katie she’s the last link to them but Katie says she went on vacay with her BF and Stassi should trust her to still have her back.
Stassi says it makes her feel really betrayed. Stassi says Katie doesn’t seem to care or get that she’s hurt because she changed. Stassi is very upset and Katie says she has to take care of herself since no one else is worried about her. Stassi starts crying and Katie says she has to go. Katie says she’s making the best decisions for her and it’s not personal to Stassi. She leaves. Stassi stays behind and cries.
