Who Is The Bachelor 2016 Spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Ex Ben Higgins - Best Bachelor Ever, Too Good For Reality TV?

Who is The Bachelor 2016 spoilers are already coming in and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s ex Ben Higgins will be the next star of the ABC reality TV dating franchise. On Saturday July 11 Chris Harrison reportedly announced during the taping of the “Men Tell All” episode that he and the producers had selected Ben Higgins as the next Season 20 Bachelor. But, who is Ben Higgins? Well, his might just be the best Bachelor to grace our TV screens in a long time. Then again, after Juan Pablo and Chris Soules – there really is nowhere to go but up.

Ben Higgins caught America’s eye since day one of Season 11 of The Bachelorette, but unfortunately Kaitlyn Bristowe just can’t recognize a good man when she sees one. Kaitlyn dragged Ben Higgins along all the way to the final three, but she was so caught up with Nick Viall and Shawn Booth’s douchebaggery that she never really noticed Ben’s potential. After their fantasy suite date Kaitlyn eliminated Ben Higgins, and he took the rejection like a champ. Seriously though, Ben deserved so much better than a girl who falls for Nick Viall and Shawn Booth.

What should you know about the Season 20 Bachelor? Well, Ben Higgins is actually rather young, and he just turned 26 while he filming The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe, but he was for more mature than the 30 year old leading lady and seems wise beyond his years. Throughout Season 11 of The Bachelorette, Ben flew under the radar for quite a while, and he seems to have zero tolerance for drama and he was just too busy preparing for his stint on The Bachelor to get caught up in the petty he-sad-she-said bickering. Kaitlyn herself even asked Nick, “Why doesn’t anyone ever have anything bad to say about Ben?” Duh, because there is nothing bad to say about the Colorado native.

To be perfectly honest, Ben Higgins is probably too good of a catch to be slumming it on ABC’s The Bachelor. And as long as he doesn’t get sucked in to the glitzy D-list celebrity lifestyle like Chris Soules did, he might actually be the first bachelor in a long time to wind up getting married after the show. Are you as thrilled as we are that Ben Higgins is the next Bachelor? Or do you think the producers should have chosen someone else? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
