Tonight on NBC America’s Got Talent returns with an all new Tuesday, August 3, Season 11 episode 15 called “Live Results 2”, and we’ve got your America’s Got Talent recap down below! On tonight’s episode winning acts advance in a results installment.
On the last episode, for the first time three Golden Buzzers went head to head in one live show. Sal Valentinetti, Calysta Bevier and Dorothy Williams were back to win America’s vote for a coveted spot in the Semifinals. Twelve competed in the second live show of the season. On tonight’s episode of “America’s Got Talent,” the five acts who will be continuing on to the next round are revealed, one act from the bottom three will continue on thanks to being voted as the “Dunkin’ Save” pick and the remaining two will be sent home.
Tonight’s bottom three who are in danger of being sent home are Kadie Lynn, Sal Valentinetti and Throwings.
The Clairvoyants are the first act chosen to continue on to the next round, while quick-change artists Sos and Victoria are sent home. Both juggler Viktor Kee and Rubik’s cube magician Steven Brundage will be continuing on to the next round as well.
Season 6 contestants iLuminate and The Tantrums paired up for a high-intensity club song next. iLuminate now has their own show in New York while The Tantrums new album will be released September 4. Nick Cannon then announced that all of the judges from this season will be returning for the following season.
The next contestant who will be continuing on is contortionist Sofi Dossi. Dance group Flip and stunt act Ryan Stock and AmberLynn are both sent home. Singer Calysta Bevier is chosen next while singer Moya Angela has been eliminated from the competition.
Tonight’s “Dunkin’ Save” choice voted by the fans is Sal Valentinetti. The judges vote resulted in a tie, but once the viewer votes were calculated, Kadie Lynn will be competing in the semi-finals and Throwings are sent home.
The acts chosen to compete in the semi-finals are: The Clairvoyants, Viktor Kee, Steven Brundage, Sofi Dossi, Calysta Bevier, Sal Valentinetti and Kadie Lynn. The semi-finals will air on Tuesday, August 23.
