Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s combined wealth of $400 million dollars is causing major drama for the soon-to-be ex-couple in their divorce battle. In fact, reports are swirling that even though earlier reports indicated that their prenup was iron clad, both Brad and Angelina are fighting for their right to every dollar.
It took Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie nearly nine years to make their relationship official by marriage and it’s a decision they no doubt regret now that they have to split up their massive fortune. According to reports, the couple owned 12 properties together from all over the world: from the Hollywood Hills to New Orleans to France. They are selling each one slowly but surely. Of their twelve homes, seven belonged to Brad and two to Angelina before they got married and the remaining three were bought after 2014.
But because their divorce has taken a nasty turn, thanks to Angelia’s public smear campaign against her husband, it’s without a doubt that Brad doesn’t want to split his assets, especially since the majority of it belonged to him before they got married. As much as Brad is willing to play fair, it’s Angelina who started slinging mud the moment she filed for divorce nearly two months ago, putting Brad in defense.
It’s surprising to no one that Angelina is trying to pull all the strings in this divorce because of her selfish and controlling ways, but Brad won’t give anything up without a fight, especially with the way he’s been slandered in the press.
According to Angelina, she supposedly thinks she deserves everything, including full-time custody of their six children, along with the money and homes she needs to raise them the way she pleases. After all, she is fighting hard to raise them on her own terms. She apparently would like to see herself and her kids living with the arrangements they already have, but, of course, without Brad Pitt in the picture.
