Camilla Parker Bowles’ niece Emma Parker Bowles is once again trying to be a reality television star. And of course, Queen Elizabeth is none too pleased. There are new reports indicating that Emma has signed up for a risky reality show that might take a toll on her, both mentally and physically.
Camilla Parker Bowles’ niece Emma has signed up to compete on the British reality competition show, ‘The Jump.’ Despite the risks involved, celebrities and socialites have been lining up to appear on the show. The British television series follows celebrities as they try to master various risky winter sports. Viewers have demanded that the show be canceled following reports of cast injuries, including torn ligaments, dislocated shoulders, and severe back injuries.
Yet, that’s not stopping Emma Parker Bowles from joining the show. Emma is the daughter of Richard Eustace Parker Bowles, whose brother Andrew Parker Bowles is Camilla’s ex-husband. She is also known as a party girl in London social circles as well as a model and automotive writer.
In fact, Emma was once so hungry for fame that she left London for Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a huge television star in America. She wanted to use her last name to land a job presenting a motoring reality show on a major television network in the States.
If that weren’t enough, Pippa Middleton’s future brother-in-law Spencer Matthews will also be joining the show. The reality television star is James Matthews’ brother and was one of the first contestants announced for the upcoming season.
Of course, many critics think that the only reason why Emma Parker Bowles is making headlines is because of her connection to the royal family. She hasn’t been in the spotlight for years, yet sources say she’s still doing whatever it takes to become a celebrity. Queen Elizabeth is none too pleased that both Emma and Spencer are using their royal connections to make headlines.
Of course, there’s not much Camilla Parker Bowles can do about her niece joining ‘The Jump.’ Camilla and Emma haven’t been in contact with each other for years. The only thing Camilla can hope for is that Emma doesn’t try and maximize on her publicity or worse, embarrass her and the royal family on television.
