Camilla Parker-Bowles wedding anniversary has been overshadowed by Kate Middleton’s trip to India. Camilla must be furious that the world has all but forgotten she married Prince Charles eleven years ago on April 9.
Somehow in all the hustle and bustle and fretting over Kate Middleton and Prince William’s official Royal visit to India and Bhutan Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles anniversary has come and gone without one word form Buckingham Palace.
Maybe the Duchess of Cambridge will remember and send a happy anniversary from India postcard. Highly unlikely, but you never know what Kate will do for good press.
The social media feeds – Twitter, Instagram, Facebook – devoted to Royal Family news – have been a filled non-stop with photos William and Kate playing cricket and soccer, visiting the slums of Mumbai.
The biggest event of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first day and evening in India – The Bollywood Charity Dinner – tonight has dominated the Royal news.
There is no acknowledgement of the wedding anniversary to be found on the Clarence House Twitter account or on the Prince of Wales website. Of course even bumbling Prince Charles isn’t dense enough to think that his disgusting cheating and eventual divorce from the mother of his two sons is something about which he ought to remind his subjects.
There’s one little post on Twitter with a pic or two of the gardens at Clarence House. “The @ClarenceHouse garden has well and truly welcomed spring and the magnolia stellata tree is in full bloom!”
Poor Camilla! She never gets the attention from the Royal family and the world that she believes is deserved. Parker-Bowles will always live in Princess Diana’s spectacular shadow. Goodness, Camilla can’t even use the rightful title of Princess of Wales. What a riot that would cause if Camilla even dared.
While Kate Middleton flits all over India in expensive designer fashions Camilla Parker-Bowles is probably at Clarence House screeching at Prince Charles and enjoying a few too many gin and tonics. We hope Charles bought a fantastic gift to make up for the lack of attention. Perhaps another gold bracelet with F&F – Fred and Gladys – engraved upon it.
It’s a year of big events for the Royal family what with Princess Charlotte’s first birthday, Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s fifth wedding anniversary.
