‘Chicago Fire’ spoilers for Season 4 Finale Episode 23 ‘Superhero’ reveal that a dangerous structure fire puts another member of Firehouse 51 in danger and this is hot on the heels of Danny’s death. Looks like the season finale will be gripping.
Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) pushes forward with her plan to become Louie’s foster mother after the other placement fell through because Louie struggled. But will Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) be part of this or is he just facilitating what Dawson wants?
Dawson and Casey will have a serious discussion about the future and she tells Casey they want different things – she’s ready for a family and he’s not. Looks like Dawson is ready to put Louie first and Casey will have to get with it or step aside. But the finale may shake up her plans for good.
Danny Borelli’s (Andre Ahrens) memorial service is held. Christopher Hermann (David Eigenberg) is in full dress standing near the memorial wall of lost firefighters and Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) is on hand among the other firefighters there to pay respects.
Expect to see more of Jimmy Borelli’s (Steven R McQueen) anger at Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) and continues to blame the chief for his brother’s death. Boden tells Jimmy that Danny died a hero and Boden takes issue with the accusation that Jimmy is leveling.
Will the big finale fire rob Dawson of the chance to fulfill her dream of motherhood? She and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) are trapped in the blazing building and there’s only time to get one of them out so Dawson orders Kidd to get on the rope.
Kidd will scale down the side of a building and things look dicey. From below, Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) with ambulances and EMTs gathered at the scene. Severide looks concerned as the rest of the team watched what’s happening but unable to go assist.
Also on hand at the scene is Casey and other firefighters staring up in horror. Jimmy and Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) work hard to save lives at the scene and Kidd will make it to safety, but then an explosion rocks the building and the room Dawson was in goes up in smoke.
Boden screams for Dawson to report, but it looks like there’s radio silence. Will Dawson die? If so, what does that mean for Casey and little Louie? Will the firefighters have to bury another of their own right after losing Danny?
