#DanceMoms tonight is the reunion show for Season 6. Abby arrives way late and everyone is on stage waiting for Abby who takes her time getting ready. She finally takes the stage and someone comes out and puts her shoes on and she says she needs a different bra.

The audience stares as the show starts 40 minutes late. Melissa comes to help tuck her in. They have the girls come perform live while Abby gets herself sorted. They do Bittersweet Charity from Season 6 Episode 9 “Nia Saves the Day.”

Jai Rodriguez introduces himself as the host and says he’s a huge fan of the show. He introduces Abby Lee Miller, Jessalyn, Holly, Ashlee, Melissa, Jill and Kira. The crowd goes wild. Jai asks Abby about Melissa leaving and she says it was handled badly.

Abby says Melissa lied for months on end and she had Maddie audition for So You Think You Can Dance. Abby says her student will judge on that show and she’s thrilled because that means she can get tickets every week.

Melissa insists they were not allowed to talk about it. Jessa says Abby cried for hours when Melissa told her. Abby says Melissa sat in her mother’s hospital room and of course she’s happy. Jessa says Abby wouldn’t let them plan a party or anything.

Abby says there should have been a press conference with her, Melissa, Maddie and Mackenzie. She says it should have been done properly. Melissa says things were done properly through her attorney. Holly says she understands it intellectually but it was hard on a personal level.

She says it was in the magazines and Melissa was lying to them and telling her it’s gossip. Kira mentions a quote from Maddie in an article. Ashlee says she read it too. Melissa calls Ashlee a troublemaker. Abby says it is what it is and she should have not been last to know.

We see a look back at Melissa telling Abby that they’re leaving. Abby specifically asked her about being on So You Think You Can Dance Kids. Melissa tiptoed around that lie and said that Maddie wouldn’t be judging this. Abby asks why she didn’t tell her before the cameras were there.

Abby says Maddie and them would not have the life they have if not for her. Abby says the public doesn’t understand the difference between the show and real life. Holly says give them their due and they deserve more than what they were given.

Jai asks Jill about Kendall. Abby says Kendall has been working on her voice and she wants her to rerecord some songs and then the single will come out then an album. Jill says it’s nice to hear her say that. Jai says it’s bittersweet for all of them.

Jai asks Ashlee why the moms are all mad at her. Jill says Ashlee thinks Brynn is the Maddie and Ashlee says Abby said that. Then Jai asks Abby if Brynn is the new Maddie. Abby says in time she will be. Melissa says Maddie can’t be replaced.

We see scenes of the cat fighting in Season 6 over Brynn’s introduction. Jill says Kendall K is the next star not Brynn and there’s a picking order. We see Jill go off on Abby and drop the f*k bomb. Jill says she was really mad at Abby for not watching out for Kendall.

Abby says any kids that come in come from the competition world and are fighting for a spot in the front. She says that’s where Brynn is coming from and came in to prove herself. Kira says Kalani never came in and acted like that.

Ashlee says the moms were the problem with Brynn fitting in. Jill says Ashlee came in picking on the kids and didn’t know her place. Ashlee says Jill called her kid stupid and boring. Abby says it’s all real. She laughs. Ashlee says they didn’t like they couldn’t run her off.

Jai says the dance world can be cut throat and then Maddie performs Lizzie Borden from Season 6 Episode 10 “Horror Story.” The mini moms Kerri, Tiffanie, Sari and Yolanda are on stage back from the break.

Tiffanie says it’s been hard to come there and fit in the least bit. Sari says she wasn’t killed. Jill says we don’t want to hear about your sacrifice. Sari says Abby gave her daughter a chance to dance for a reason and says her son has cerebral palsy and she did a dance about it.

Then Jai plays back the moments when Melissa started going off about the solo for her son. Melissa interrupts and says this should be about her kids. Kerri breaks in and calls Melissa out on her rude behavior. Then Jill joins in and slams the mini moms.

Melissa says this is her kids’ week. The audience is stunned. Melissa says it was a long road since they’ve been there since day one. Jai asks Melissa why she’s so negative about the mini moms and she flips them off.

Holly says those moms will never have the legacy. Abby says wishful thinking then says she’s not sure she’s ready to commit to the minis. She says they’re not ready for the competitions and Kerri says they’re doing it and winning.

Maddie and Kendall now perform Run Baby Run from Season 6 Episode 15 “Melissa’s Announcement.” Jai asks Abby what’s her biggest challenge and she says she’s putting out fires. Jai asks about her missing two competitions.

Jessa says that was when Abby found out Chloe booked a movie. Holly says Abby told them she didn’t want them there and says she doesn’t care about her legal issues. Abby says she did not leave the kids high and dry.

We see a clip of Abby telling them not to bother her and she’s not working then Debbie Allen filling in. Holly says they step up when Abby flakes out and brings up tapping Debbie Allen. Nia is the last original member of the team.

Holly says Nia has learned a lot at ALDC and they have no plans on leaving until their time is up and it’s not up yet. Now we see Nia and Kalani perform their duet Isolations from Season 6 Episode 5 “Now You See Abby Now You Don’t.”

Jai asks Kira what she thinks about Melissa leaving and Jessa says Kira is upset because she’s losing her babysitter for Kalani. We see Jessa talking about someone else watching Kira’s kid and that she was taking advantage of Melissa. Jessa says Kira is super arrogant. Bickering ensues.

Jai says that’s the craziest shit he’s seen. Kira says she talked to Melissa all day every day and if she was having a hard time she would have told her. Melissa says she was worried when Kalani’s back was troubling her. Jessa says she pawned her kid off for 12 weeks.

Melissa says she was worried Kalani broke her back. Kira says she had a baby and Ashlee says she always pawns her kid off. Kira says Kalani is more of the team than Ashlee and Brynn. Holly says Kira should have pulled Kalani and kept her at home.

Now we see the girls doing Well Oiled Machine from Season 6 Episode 8 “Debbie Allen to the Rescue.”

Then we get a look back at Maddie and Mackenzie at ages six and eight when they started. Melissa says her ex calls her a crazy dance moms and says she’ll miss them since they’ve been together so many years. We see Melissa trying on her wedding dress.

Then we look back at Abby talking about losing her mom and how her last words were to Melissa. Abby says she’s been loyal to her. Then we see Abby’s little dog she lost and Melissa showing her a video. Melissa says it’s been such a great ride together and they’ll always be ALDC members.

Melissa says it’s been such an amazing journey and without Abby and the show, her kids wouldn’t be moving on and doing these fabulous things. She says they have the best fans and talks about the thousands of people that showed up for them in Australia.

Holly says it’s a sisterhood and they started before there was even a competition team. She says she didn’t think the goodbye would be so difficult. Kira says it doesn’t seem real but she’s excited to see what her girls have in store.

Jessa says she loves her girls and no one can replace them. Jill says she’s happy Melissa has no regrets and is thankful for all the time they had together but hates that it ends. Ashlee says she really got to know Kenzie and says she’s a firecracker that’s kind to everyone. Jill says leave Mackenzie on the team.

Abby says remember everything I told you and that you learned because those lessons will come into play and she says with her whole heart, she says this is just the beginning. The ladies all get a glass of champagne and toast. Abby and Melissa hug.

THE END!
