“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that a big return will delight many DOOL fans. We don’t know the identity of this soap star or character just yet, but Jason47’s “Days” website is offering up a few clues. It’s been confirmed that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) will all be making appearances down the road.
Nadia Bjorlin will also be returning as Chloe in the spring. The current teaser states that this return is not referring to any of those characters.
The Internet is buzzing about the possibility that Greg Vaughan could be back as Eric. Due to the show’s taping schedule, Vaughan finished filming months ago. Eric’s last air date is expected to be in mid-April, but has “Days of Our Lives” already hired Vaughan back? It wouldn’t be all that surprising.
The buzz started when Greg Vaughan responded to the outpouring of support on Twitter. When many DOOL viewers expressed sadness over his exit, Vaughan insisted that they should “Never say never!” The hopeful message was good sign.

We received more potential good news a short time later. Kristian Alfonso, who plays Hope, posted a pic on Instagram that she said was from a week ago. Eric Martsolf (Brady) and Vaughan were posing with Alfonso.
She said they were at the gym, but many fans noticed that it seemed to be the hair-and-makeup room on set. A cast chart even appeared to be in the corner.
Suddenly, people are going nuts over the possibility that Eric could return to Salem and have a shot at redemption. We’ve seen a lot of exits since DOOL began its reboot, but Vaughan’s was perhaps the first one that elicited such an extreme reaction.
Since it wasn’t Vaughan’s choice to leave, many fans were outraged and have been calling for his rehire. Maybe the suits were listening!
There’s another option we should probably consider. Word has it that Leann Hunley may be coming back to “Days of Our Lives” in the role of Anna. That return could certainly open up a can of worms.
Since Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna were a popular pairing back in the day, there’s a chance that we could see a huge secret revealed. What if Andre (Thaao Penghlis) isn’t really Andre? He may be actually be Tony or he could at least pose as him again.
Tony is dead, but so was Andre before they rewrote all of this. Then again, Anna could always fall for Andre because he looks like the love of her life.
Anna has also worked in the fashion biz before. She might be the perfect addition to Basic Black if Theresa (Jen Lilley) can’t keep up with demand. Perhaps Anna could put her designing skills to good use.
Of course, it’s possible that the return in question is someone else entirely. Greg Vaughan and Leann Hunley are simply the frontrunners at the moment. We’ll give you updates if we hear any anything else about this exciting comeback.
