Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Eric Sentenced to Five Years in Prison - Greg Vaughan Final Air Date April 15

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Eric (Greg Vaughan) final episode and air date on Days is rapidly approaching next week – he will head to court and a judge will hand down his sentence. Belle (Martha Madison) feared that Eric would get the book thrown at him, but it looks like it won’t be quite that bad.

DOOL spoilers indicate that Eric will receive five years in prison. That’s not ideal, but it could be worse.

Of course, Gabi (Camila Banus) got 10-20 years for the murder of Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) in 2014. She’s already back and her prison stint is in the rearview mirror. On “Days of Our Lives,” there’s really no guarantee that someone will serve his or her time.

You never know when a stroke of luck will secure a character’s release.

Regardless, there’s a good chance Eric will reappear in Salem at some point. It could be a few years from now and it may be with another actor in the role, but this probably isn’t the end of the road for such an integral part of the Brady clan.

However, that doesn’t provide much comfort at the moment. It’s always tough to see a fan favorite slip away.

Countless “Days” viewers will miss Vaughan’s portrayal of the compassionate former priest. We can hold out hope that Vaughan will return as Eric someday, but for now we must say goodbye. Likewise, Eric’s loved ones will also have to bid him farewell.

John (Drake Hogestyn) will try to console Marlena (Deidre Hall) when she hears the sentencing news. It should be tough for Marlena to bear. This distraught mother will hate the thought of watching her son carted off to the slammer.

Nevertheless, DOOL spoilers tease that Eric will gather with Marlena, John, Roman (Josh Taylor) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) just before he heads off to a gloomy cell. While things look grim for Eric, we shouldn’t be too worried about Vaughan. He’s already joined the cast of “Queen Sugar” on OWN.

We’ll give you updates on Vaughan’s future projects. This handsome hunk and talented actor will surely have many more in the coming months. In the meantime, you can catch Eric’s last scenes at “Days of Our Lives” on Friday, April 15.

So “Days” fans, what do you think about Eric’s sentence of five years? Does the punishment fit the crime? Are you hopeful that Eric will be back on canvas one day? Will you check out Vaughan’s new show on OWN?
