Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Eric Makes Love with Jennifer, Prison Sentence Looms – Marlena's Heartbreak

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will learn he’s headed to prison for five years on this week’s episodes. Naturally, Eric will be pretty depressed by the news. He’ll once again turn to alcohol as he tries to numb the pain. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will attempt to comfort Eric as he makes peace with his future.

Of course, Jennifer’s life isn’t exactly peachy keen right now either. DOOL viewers know that Jennifer is struggling with an addiction to painkillers. It’s a daily battle that Jen always seems to lose. As Eric drowns his sorrow, “Days” spoilers say Jennifer will cling to her pill bottle.

With a drugged-up Jennifer and a drunk Eric, something’s bound to happen between them. This moment has been brewing ever since their first steamy kiss. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Eric and Jennifer will make love.

They might have a few regrets in the morning, but at least they can be there for each other in this time of crisis.

Speaking of regrets, it looks like Marlena (Deidre Hall) will have plenty. When Marlena receives updates on Eric’s sentence, her heart will break for her son. Marlena will wish she could have seen the signs before Eric went off on his drunken joyride. DOOL spoilers reveal that John (Drake Hogestyn) will do his best to console his love.

Unfortunately, there probably isn’t much John could say or do to ease the pain. The truth is Eric did the crime and now he has to do the time. It’s going to be tough, but everyone will have to find a way to cope. That includes Eric. It appears he’ll manage to accept his fate and hold his head up high.

Eric will be apologetic for all of the suffering he caused through the accident. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is still grieving for Daniel (Shawn Christian). Even Jennifer’s addiction is technically Eric’s fault.

Nevertheless, Eric is a good man at heart. He would do anything to change his actions on that tragic night. Eric will have many hours to devote to soul-searching in the slammer. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see Eric head off canvas.

So “Days” fans, what do you think about Jennifer and Eric’s love session? Are they a hot couple or will you pass on this pairing? Will Marlena have trouble letting go of what she can’t change? Can John help “Doc” come to grips with Eric’s sentence?
