“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) spoilers reveal that on this week’s episodes Salem will be hit with a dangerous epidemic. DOOL viewers will remember that Yo Ling (Tobin Bell) drugged Paul (Christopher Sean) and partially brainwashed him in a secret lair. John (Drake Hogestyn) managed to bring Paul home, he we haven’t seen much of him since then.
We don’t know if Paul has been having any symptoms thus far, but they’ll soon become quite apparent. A flu-like virus will affect Paul, Gabi (Camila Banus) and Arianna (Harper and Sydnee Udell). Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will be perplexed when this mysterious illness spreads rapidly across town.
“Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that more patients will file in for treatment at the hospital. The medical team will struggle to figure out the nature of this baffling condition. Once it’s clear that this is not your average flu, Salem’s docs will have to bring in the big guns.
The CDC will be called and they’ll be forced to quarantine the entire facility. They can’t risk infecting anyone else. Meanwhile, “Days” spoilers say some patients will improve as others deteriorate. This outbreak will leave many Salemites in a fight for their lives.
Unfortunately, at least one person will succumb to his or her sickness. A stunning death will affect several of the town’s residents. There’s no confirmation on which character will perish, but there’s been some buzz about the idea that Lani (Sal Stowers) could bite the dust.
It wouldn’t be too surprising since Sal Stowers was let go and Lani’s last scenes are undoubtedly coming up. Abe (James Reynolds) just found out about his long-lost daughter, so this death would be a low blow to the Carvers. Sometimes that’s just the way things go in the soap world. It’s the price we pay for exciting May sweeps plots.
Theo (Kyler Pettis) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) would also be shaken by the news of Lani’s passing. It would certainly create some good drama. Then again, it’s possible that someone else could be killed off. DOOL might take another character out instead.
Regardless, we can expect tense moments and plenty of tears. Those who are quarantined will have to lean on each other during this difficult time. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on this riveting storyline.
