Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sonny (Freddie Smith) will make it back to Salem. We’ve been anxiously awaiting Sonny’s return and it sounds like he’ll be incorporated into the drama right away. Sonny has some great storylines coming up over the next few weeks.
For starters, Days spoilers indicate that Sonny will have a bone to pick with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). That’s not surprising. Everyone in town knows that Deimos is bad news. It seems Sonny received updates on Deimos’ revenge against Victor (John Aniston) and he’s not pleased.
DOOL viewers can expect a fierce faceoff between Deimos and Sonny. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sonny will rip into Deimos for poisoning Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), which caused her crippling fall. He’ll be furious that Deimos stripped Victor of his wealth and dignity.
Deimos will likely apologize for any harm he’s caused. After all, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is bringing out a softer side of Deimos. He’s trying to change, but that should be difficult for anyone to believe. Deimos has made quite a name for himself as a villain in Salem.
Nevertheless, Deimos will eventually attempt to right his wrongs. As for Sonny, it appears he’s picked up some passion while living abroad. Will’s (Guy Wilson) death has undoubtedly affected Sonny in ways we can’t even imagine. He never got the chance to really patch things up with Will before Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) brutally murdered him.
Losing Will may have toughened Sonny up slightly. He’s had to find a way to work through his pain. Of course, Sonny has realized that life is short. It’s probably made him determined to go after what he wants.
We’ll see the ambitious aspect of Sonny’s personality come into play soon. Days of Our Lives buzz hints that Sonny may become a business bigwig. Now that Club TBD has been sold, Sonny is free to climb the corporate ladder. Sonny may become very influential at Titan Industries.
Still, Sonny won’t lose the sweetness that Days fans know and love. He’s sure to flash that million-dollar smile when he reunites with Arianna (Harper and Sydney Udell). Sonny has missed that little munchkin. Gabi (Camila Banus) should be happy to see Sonny as well.
Sonny will also share a chat with Adrienne (Judi Evans). They’ll discuss her engagement to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Sonny will voice his disapproval. He may urge Justin (Wally Kurth) to swoop in before it’s too late. Sonny will believe his parents belong together, but they’ll shoot down any reconciliation ideas.
Finally, Sonny will have an opportunity to catch up with Paul (Christopher Sean). They’ll have a lot to talk about. Paul has been getting to know John (Drake Hogestyn) and he’s been trying out different careers. Plus, Paul was kidnapped, brainwashed and infected with a serious virus.
Sonny might want to open up about his life in Europe and how he’s been coping with his loss. In other words, there’s no shortage of conversation topics for these two. Paul and Sonny will quickly reconnect.
