“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Joey (James Lastovic) could find love once again. Joey recently fell hard for Ava (Tamara Braun), but that wasn’t going to work out for obvious reasons. Ava broke Joey’s heart, but there’s still hope for this naïve teen. Joey will soon meet a fascinating girl named Jade (Paige Searcy).
DOOL’s casting call for Jade hinted that she’s a free spirit as well as flirty and outgoing. We also know that Jade has had her eye on Joey for a while now. He was probably just too busy pining for Ava to notice. Now that Ava has shown her true colors, Joey may realize that he’d be better off with a fun gal from Salem High.
According to Jason47’s “Days” website, this is a recurring part and it will mark Paige Searcy’s first major acting role. It should be interesting to see what Searcy will bring to the show. Many DOOL fans have been pleased by the previous teen additions. “Days of Our Lives” writers have been doing a nice job of integrating them into storylines with older Salem residents.
Joey certainly works well with Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Most viewers are loving their family dynamic. Unfortunately, things have been a bit tense between Joey and his old man lately. The situation is only going to get worse once Joey learns Steve slept with Ava.
“Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Joey will rip into Steve for betraying Kayla. Steve will try to explain, but Joey will struggle to accept his father’s excuses. Perhaps Jade will provide support as Joey attempts to let all of this go.
Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and Theo (Kyler Pettis) are about to be busy in their own little world. Meanwhile, Chase (Jonathon McClendon) is supposedly going to skip town. Joey could obviously use another friend right now.
DOOL buzz hints that Jade and Joey’s relationship could cause some trouble down the road. However, it should mean good news for Joey at the moment. Stick with the NBC soap for updates on Joey’s reaction to Jade’s sudden appearance in his life.
