Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve (Stephen Nichols) will try to support Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) as she recovers from her surgery. He’ll be willing to do whatever it takes to earn Kayla’s love and trust. Steve wants to be the one she turns to – now and forever.
Kayla will be hesitant to fully open her heart. She views Steve has a walking red flag, but she still loves him. It’s been a “can’t live with him, can’t live without him” situation over the past few months. Nevertheless, Steve is determined to prove that his risky days are behind him. He’ll focus on preventing danger from now on.
Of course, that plan isn’t going to work out for Steve. This is Salem! Danger is everywhere. DOOL fans know that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is in town, which means the peril is already lurking. Once Orpheus tries to take care of his major beefs, he’ll focus on his minor ones.

Steve and Kayla are but a blip on the radar when it comes to Orpheus’ history. However, Orpheus has been stewing in prison long enough to care about that blip. Besides, Orpheus is the kind of guy who would kill you for stealing his sandwich. He’s a hardcore villain who could give Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) a run for his money.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will finally let Steve move home. She’ll want to take this one step at a time, but she’ll be hopeful about the future. Unfortunately, Orpheus’ actions will put everything in jeopardy.
When Steve arrives at the house one evening, he’ll be met by Orpheus’ cold stare. Days spoilers indicate that Orpheus will have Kayla and Joey (James Lastovic) right where he wants them. Steve will realize he just walked into a hostage situation. He’ll be desperate to save his family before Orpheus does something deadly.
To make things even trickier, DOOL spoilers reveal that a blackout will stun Salem. Steve may have to fight for his life and the lives of his loved ones in the dark. We’ve been hearing that Days of Our Lives has some shockers in store and this may be one of them.
Orpheus, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Clyde (James Read) are going to come up with several outrageous plots. The blackout sounds like it could be their handiwork. If so, this strategy could backfire.
Steve might be able to gain the upper hand if Orpheus can’t see his sneak attack. Orpheus may retreat if he gets in over his head. He could scamper off do a little more scheming with his crew. Then again, the plan could go very wrong. Orpheus may not make it out of Salem alive.
This character was out of the picture for nearly 30 years and the current revenge tour seems like something Days may not want to repeat. In other words, we could be nearing the end of the road for Orpheus. He’d probably rather get killed than go back to prison.
In fact, all three villains have determined that vengeance is worth putting their lives on the line. Slaying the whole bunch would likely be overkill, but at least one death might a neat angle for Days to pursue. We’ll give you updates as other news emerges.
