General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the Monday, August 1, episode reveal that a death is suspected in the Greek plane crash, Nina needs something from Curtis, Jordan has evidence against Franco, Liz is distraught when her first date takes a disturbing turn, and Jax is back to shut down Carly’s activities.
In Greece, the crash survivors check themselves out and it looks like most have come out of the ordeal intact but Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) is nowhere to be seen. Things get darker still when Ava Jerome (Maura West) starts lecturing the others with a doom and gloom outlook on Jason’s fate.
Ava thinks that Jason is dead and makes no bones about telling Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) that her Stone Cold husband did not survive the crash. Ava’s not being cruel, but practical since it looks like Jason sacrificed himself to save the others, but we all know he’s not dead…
Back in Port Charles, a familiar face returns. Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is back because he doesn’t think for a moment that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) did what she said and terminated the kidney investigation when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) asked her to.
But first, Jax runs into Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) who’s chilling at the MetroCourt with Roxy the lizard. Both Jax and Roxy are from Australia so Jax strikes up a conversation and mentions that the lizard seems to be in love with Finn and finds out Finn is Joss’s doctor.
The GH serial killer case is heating up now that there’s been another patient death. Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy), Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) get the lab results back while Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) lurks looking creepily interested.
Turns out Franco’s (Roger Howarth) prints are the only ones on the vial, but we all know that serial killer wears gloves so this clue is meaningless to GH viewers. But General Hospital spoilers tease that this sets Jordan and Valerie on a collision course with Franco.
Meanwhile, Curtis goes to talk to Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) who mentions something about Franco that catches Curtis’ ear. Now it seems that Curtis is also seeing Franco as the likeliest suspect. Nina has a request for Curtis who asks her what she wants him to do.
Is Nina tasking Curtis to dig into the kidney mystery or into Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) again? Also, how long until someone comes by to offer stranded Claudette and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) a ride and how cozy will those two get while they’re stuck alone out in the woods?
Speaking of Franco, Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is a little worried when he locks the two of them in his art studio. Liz is a little bit afraid and asks Franco what he wants. All this action makes Franco look guilty, but he’s not the killer – he’s not out for blood – it’s romance he wants.
Other General Hospital spoilers for Monday hint that “danger is on the menu” and implies that someone at the MetroCourt might be in danger. A recent promo video showed Nina panicking when she dropped a key before she could get inside her hotel room. Is Nina at risk?
Jordan will decide she needs more help with the investigation and turns to Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) for an assist with the GH killer case. Since Andre worked for the WSB as a profiler, does Jordan want to tap those same skills to find the hospital culprit?
